Stirling! 🐾 See those beautiful, soft gray fluff balls, the big eyes and that head I can tilt so adorably? That's me! My foster family always says I melt your heart with my gaze. I may be Dundee's slightly smaller and more timid sister, but once you win my heart, I am a total treasure! At first, I find new things and fast movements a bit scary. I prefer to hide safely. But with a little patience and love, you will see that I quickly enjoy your attention. When you scratch gently under my chin, I start purring! I notice that I gain more confidence every week and am already very much thawed out. I'm not a lap cat yet, but with a calm approach, that will come with a little love. The children in the foster family find me super fun! Together with my tough sister Dundee, I discover the world. As soon as the crate opens or food is brought (I'm a real foodie!), I'm right at the front. Dundee and I are inseparable: we dash through the house like crazy, stalk each other and climb over each other playfully. When the cat toys come out, I forget my shyness immediately and go straight after the "prey"! I find older cats incredibly interesting. Even if they hiss at me once, I'm not easily impressed and just come sniffing curiously. My ideal home? I'm looking for a nice, cozy and preferably a quieter home where I can get to know everything at my own pace. Because I rely so much on my tough sister Dundee and we are each other's favorite playmates, I would very much like to move in with her to our golden nest. Do you have a nice place for us and a handful of patience and love? Then I promise that I will enchant you with my beautiful eyes! Fill out the intake form below, then we can schedule an initial meeting quickly. Before taking in a cat, we are curious about what comes with it. Read through this LICG pet information leaflet. Do you have any questions afterwards? We'd be happy to answer them.

About Adoptiepagina

What life with Adoptiepagina looks like

Adoptiepagina is a medium-sized puppy/kitten european shorthair cat waiting at ROZE Eindhoven in Netherlands.

Kittens are tiny chaos engines for about six months and then mellow rapidly. They need two scheduled feedings, a litter box per cat plus one extra, and somewhere high to climb. Spay/neuter happens around six months β€” most shelters arrange this before adoption.

πŸ‡³πŸ‡±Adopting from Netherlands

Dutch shelters typically require a household assessment and an adoption contract. Animals are routinely sterilized, microchipped, and registered in the national pet database (NDG) before placement.

Frequently asked

Adopting Adoptiepagina, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Adoptiepagina?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. ROZE Eindhoven handles screening and the adoption contract directly β€” TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Adoptiepagina on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Adoptiepagina if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad β€” ROZE Eindhoven will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Adoptiepagina already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported β€” ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Adoptiepagina isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work β€” that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with ROZE Eindhoven early rather than rehoming privately; they know Adoptiepagina and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (NL). Translation is imperfect β€” names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
