European Shorthair · Male · Kitten · 3 months

I was quite nervous when I arrived at my foster family. So many new sounds, people, and impressions... I really needed some time to get used to everything. Luckily, I got that time, and now I feel completely at home. I'm enjoying all the attention and showing everyone what a sweet boy I am. My days are filled with everything a kitten loves: playing, running, climbing, and exploring. I can't sit still! But I have a funny habit. I love to roll. I lie on my belly and roll all the way around until I end up right back on my belly. My foster family always laughs at that. Although I'm a bit shy with new people at first, I'm getting braver. Give me time to get to know you, and you'll see that I completely melt. With people I trust, I'm relaxed and enjoy all the attention. So, I'm not a kitten that jumps right onto your lap, but one where it's extra special when you win my trust. I get along well with other cats, and I'm growing up in a house with two teenagers. Older kids are no problem. With young children, it could work as long as they understand that sometimes I just want to take it easy. We don't know yet if I like dogs. My ideal home is a quiet and loving family that understands that not every kitten is ready to take on everything right away. If you give me time to adjust at my own pace, you'll get an incredibly sweet, playful, and affectionate friend in return. Maybe I'll even move in with my girlfriend Devi or Rani, because with them, I can make a great team. Do you have the patience to win my trust? Then fill out the intake form below, and we can schedule a first meeting. Before you bring a cat home, we want to make sure you know what's involved. Read through this LICG pet handbook. Do you have any questions? We'd be happy to answer them.

About Adoptiepagina

What life with Adoptiepagina looks like

Adoptiepagina is a medium-sized puppy/kitten european shorthair cat waiting at ROZE Eindhoven in Netherlands.

Kittens are tiny chaos engines for about six months and then mellow rapidly. They need two scheduled feedings, a litter box per cat plus one extra, and somewhere high to climb. Spay/neuter happens around six months — most shelters arrange this before adoption.

🇳🇱Adopting from Netherlands

Dutch shelters typically require a household assessment and an adoption contract. Animals are routinely sterilized, microchipped, and registered in the national pet database (NDG) before placement.

Frequently asked

Adopting Adoptiepagina, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Adoptiepagina?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. ROZE Eindhoven handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Adoptiepagina on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Adoptiepagina if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — ROZE Eindhoven will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Adoptiepagina already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Adoptiepagina isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with ROZE Eindhoven early rather than rehoming privately; they know Adoptiepagina and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (NL). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
