I was quite nervous when I first arrived at my foster family's home. I didn't know the people very well and wasn't sure if I could trust them. Luckily, I had all the time I needed to discover on my own that people can actually be very kind. And you know what? That helped me a lot. Now I don't shy away when someone wants to pet me and I play with great pleasure over your lap. Every day I become a little braver. My best friend is Congo. We play together all day, run after each other and discover everything there is to experience. From Congo I have learned so much. When I doubt something, he shows me that it's not really that scary. Thanks to him, I dare more and more. That's why we hope very much that we can find a new home together. Congo gives me confidence and support, and together we make a great team. In a new environment or with unfamiliar people, I might be shy at first. So please give me some time to get used to it. When I feel safe, you'll see that I become more curious and love playing with you. I'm looking for a family who understands that trust sometimes needs to grow. People who are happy with small steps and give me the chance to be myself. Together with Congo, I know for sure that I will quickly find my place in a new house. Toen ik net in mijn gastgezin kwam, vond ik de wereld best een beetje spannend. Mensen kende ik nog niet zo goed en ik wist niet zeker of ik ze wel kon vertrouwen. Gelukkig kreeg ik alle tijd om op mijn eigen tempo te ontdekken dat mensen eigenlijk heel lief kunnen zijn. En weet je? Dat heeft me ontzettend geholpen. Inmiddels deins ik niet meer meteen achteruit als je me wilt aaien en speel ik met veel plezier over je heen. Iedere dag word ik een beetje dapperder. Mijn allerbeste vriend is Congo. Samen spelen we de hele dag, rennen we achter elkaar aan en ontdekken we alles wat er te beleven valt. Van Congo heb ik ontzettend veel geleerd. Als ik ergens over twijfel, laat hij mij zien dat het eigenlijk helemaal niet zo spannend is. Dankzij hem durf ik steeds meer. Daarom hopen we heel erg dat we samen een nieuw thuis mogen vinden. Congo geeft mij vertrouwen en steun, en samen vormen we een geweldig duo. In een nieuwe omgeving of bij onbekende mensen kan ik in het begin nog wat verlegen zijn. Geef mij daarom rustig de tijd om te wennen. Als ik merk dat ik veilig ben, zul je zien dat ik steeds nieuwsgieriger word en graag met je kom spelen.
