Pixie is a beautiful girl with lovely white paws. She has recently moved to the shelter and is still getting used to it. As soon as she sees someone, she comes to her door to see who it is. But when someone sits down next to her, she finds it a bit scary. She has also recently gotten a roommate. I'm not sure if I'm happy about that. I'd rather stay safe in my bed and let you know with a growl that the other kitten shouldn't get too close. To be honest, I'd rather have all the attention for myself! But one thing I know for sure: I really like people. Once I trust you, I'll snuggle up to you and enjoy all the cuddles. I just need some time to get to know new people and new situations at my own pace. I'm still young and have a lot to discover and learn. That's why I dream of a nice and quiet home where I can be myself. A place without noisy children would be the best for me. Hoi, ik ben Pixie! Een knap meisje met prachtige witte voetjes. Sinds kort woon ik in de opvang en daar moet ik natuurlijk nog een beetje wennen. Zodra ik iemand zie verschijnen, kom ik nieuwsgierig bij mijn deurtje zitten om te kijken wie er is. Maar als iemand vervolgens gezellig bij me komt zitten, vind ik dat toch nog best een beetje spannend. Inmiddels heb ik ook een hokgenootje gekregen. Of ik daar nou zo blij mee ben… daar ben ik nog niet helemaal uit. Ik blijf dan liever lekker veilig in mijn mandje zitten en laat met een grommetje weten dat het andere kitten niet té dichtbij moet komen. Eerlijk gezegd heb ik misschien liever alle aandacht voor mezelf! Want één ding weet ik inmiddels wél: ik vind mensen heel erg leuk. Als ik je eenmaal vertrouw, kruip ik heerlijk tegen je aan en geniet ik volop van alle knuffels. Ik heb alleen wat tijd nodig om nieuwe mensen en nieuwe situaties op mijn eigen tempo te leren kennen. Ik ben natuurlijk nog jong en heb nog heel veel te ontdekken en te leren. Daarom droom ik van een fijn en rustig thuis waar ik alle tijd krijg om mezelf te zijn. Een plekje zonder drukke kinderen zou voor mij het allerfijnst zijn. Zo kan ik rustig mijn nieuwe omgeving verkennen, vertrouwen opbouwen en stap voor stap ontdekken hoe fijn het leven kan zijn.
