European Shorthair · Male · Kitten · 3 months

Trucker is my name, a tough name, isn't it? But deep down, I'm a sensitive and cautious little guy. Before I ended up in the shelter, I probably never had contact with people. You can understand that I found them very scary at first. Luckily, I've discovered that human hands can be very ticklish. In fact, I really enjoy being petted, but I won't ask for it myself. As soon as I feel safe and relaxed, I enjoy all the tickles and turn on my engine. Purring! Right now, coming onto my lap on my own is still a bit too much for me. I like to play with other kittens. Currently, I live with Roderick and Youp in my foster home. I'd love to move in with one of them. A social cat friend gives me confidence and can help me come out of my shell more and more. Before I can move, I'll stay with my foster family for about two more weeks. I'm currently being treated for lungworm. That sounds more exciting than it is: I just need a few more deworming treatments before I'm ready for my new adventure. Getting to know me is possible now! I'm expected to move from August 10th. My ideal home is a quiet household with loving and patient people. People who give me time to build trust at my own pace. A busy household probably doesn't fit me well, and small children can be a bit too restless for me. I'm looking for people without high expectations, who see every step I take as a beautiful gift. Do you want to see more of me? Follow us on Instagram: @full.of.cats Do you have a quiet place, loving cuddly hands, and enough patience to let me blossom? Then maybe I'll become your most cautious and coziest purring friend! Then fill in the intake form below, and we can schedule a first meeting. Before you bring a cat home, we're curious if you know what comes with it. Read it by means of this LICG pet folder. Do you have any questions afterwards? We'll answer them for you.

Zo ben ik toch nét even anders.

About Adoptiepagina

What life with Adoptiepagina looks like

Adoptiepagina is a medium-sized puppy/kitten european shorthair cat waiting at ROZE Eindhoven in Netherlands.

Kittens are tiny chaos engines for about six months and then mellow rapidly. They need two scheduled feedings, a litter box per cat plus one extra, and somewhere high to climb. Spay/neuter happens around six months — most shelters arrange this before adoption.

🇳🇱Adopting from Netherlands

Dutch shelters typically require a household assessment and an adoption contract. Animals are routinely sterilized, microchipped, and registered in the national pet database (NDG) before placement.

Frequently asked

Adopting Adoptiepagina, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Adoptiepagina?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. ROZE Eindhoven handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Adoptiepagina on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Adoptiepagina if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — ROZE Eindhoven will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Adoptiepagina already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Adoptiepagina isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with ROZE Eindhoven early rather than rehoming privately; they know Adoptiepagina and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (NL). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
