European Shorthair · Male · Kitten · 3 months

I am a curious and cheerful girl who loves to explore the world. As soon as I see you, I come running excitedly to see what there is to discover. My foster family sometimes calls me a little Houdini, because if there is a door ajar, I am there in a flash to see what is hiding behind it. I am ready to discover the big world! Fortunately, I am not only adventurous, but also incredibly sweet. After all my explorations, I love to snuggle up with you. If you stroke me, I start purring immediately. That is probably my favorite way to let you know how much I appreciate your attention. I also love to play. A fishing rod? I get excited right away! Playing together, chasing toys and then resting in your vicinity... that is the perfect day for me. I find new people a bit scary at first. I watch the cat out of the tree, but if I notice everything is safe, I quickly join in the fun. With people I know well, I am very social and enjoy their company. I don't need special care and there are no behavioral problems to consider. In my foster family, I am curious about the adult cat and that goes well. Because I can still be startled by loud noises, I think a family with older children would be better for me than a house with very young children. My ideal home is a loving family where I can play, explore and of course cuddle. It would be extra fun if I could move with one of my siblings, these are Heide, Salie and Distel. Then we can have new adventures together. Do you have a warm home where I can share my curiosity and my cuddles with you? Then fill in the intake form below, and we can schedule a first meeting. Before you bring a cat home, we are curious to know what comes with it. Read it through this LICG pet folder. Do you have any questions afterwards? We will answer them gladly.

About Adoptiepagina

What life with Adoptiepagina looks like

Adoptiepagina is a medium-sized puppy/kitten european shorthair cat waiting at ROZE Eindhoven in Netherlands.

Kittens are tiny chaos engines for about six months and then mellow rapidly. They need two scheduled feedings, a litter box per cat plus one extra, and somewhere high to climb. Spay/neuter happens around six months — most shelters arrange this before adoption.

🇳🇱Adopting from Netherlands

Dutch shelters typically require a household assessment and an adoption contract. Animals are routinely sterilized, microchipped, and registered in the national pet database (NDG) before placement.

Frequently asked

Adopting Adoptiepagina, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Adoptiepagina?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. ROZE Eindhoven handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Adoptiepagina on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Adoptiepagina if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — ROZE Eindhoven will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Adoptiepagina already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Adoptiepagina isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with ROZE Eindhoven early rather than rehoming privately; they know Adoptiepagina and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (NL). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
