As soon as one enters his pen, he blossoms: he is overjoyed by visitors and relishes every bit of affection. It’s immediately clear how much human contact he misses. Ajan is currently carrying a few extra kilos – which is no surprise, given that there isn’t much to do in his pen. With some exercise and a balanced diet, he will surely be back in shape soon. Regarding compatibility with other dogs, we can currently say nothing, as Ajan is currently housed alone. For those who still want to give a quiet, friendly senior dog a loving home, Ajan offers a loyal companion with plenty of character and a big heart.————Update October 2024: Ajan now sits alone in the kennel, meeting us calmly and composedly. Gratefully and without any fuss, he accepted the offered treats. Ajan clearly enjoyed the cuddles.————UPDATE August 2024: Ajan has been waiting for two years to find his own home, to finally escape the shelter. Finally, it was time, and Ajan was reserved and planned for the next transport. Unfortunately, the reservation had to be removed because Ajan was to be rehomed in a multi-dog household, and he unfortunately does not get along well. Ajan was placed in a kennel with a female dog, but that didn’t work out well. Ajan showed he was incompatible, so he was moved to a single kennel. Ajan wants to be a solo prince in his home, and he doesn’t need other dogs. For him, the human is his everything. Contact: Our dogs are vaccinated (rabies and 2x core immunizations), microchipped, and equipped with an EU pet passport at our expense (we cover the lab fees) and tested for common Mediterranean diseases: Babesiosis, Ehrlichiosis, leishmaniasis, rickettsiae, filariasis, hepatozoonosis, anaplasmosis. Sobald man seinen Zwinger betritt, blüht er förmlich auf: Er freut sich riesig über Besuch und genießt jede Zuwendung in vollen Zügen. Man merkt sofort, wie sehr ihm der menschliche Kontakt fehlt. Ajan bringt derzeit ein paar Kilos zu viel auf die Waage – was kein Wunder ist, denn in seinem Zwinger gibt es leider nicht viel zu tun. Mit etwas Bewegung und einer ausgewogenen Ernährung wird er aber sicher bald wieder in Form kommen. Zur Verträglichkeit mit anderen Hunden können wir aktuell leider nichts sagen, da Ajan derzeit allein untergebracht ist. Wer einem ruhigen, freundlichen Hundesenior noch einmal ein liebevolles Zuhause schenken möchte, bekommt mit Ajan einen treuen Gefährten mit viel Charakter und einem großen Herzen.————Update Oktober 2024:AJAN sitzt mittlerweile alleine im Kennel und begegnete uns ruhig und besonnen. Dankbar und ohne jegliche Hektik nahm er die angebotenen Leckerchen an. Die Streicheleinheiten genoss AJAN sichtlich.————UPDATE August 2024:AJAN wartet seit zwei Jahren endlich darauf, ein eigenes Zuhause zu finden, endlich dem Shelter zu entfliehen. Dann war es endlich soweit und AJAN wurde reserviert und für den nächsten Transport geplant. Doch leider musste die Reservierung wieder raus genommen werden, da AJAN in ein Mehrhunde Haushalt vermittelt werden sollte und er leider nicht gut verträglich ist.AJAN wurde zusammen mit einer Hündin in einen Kennel gesetzt, dass klappte leider nicht gut. AJAN zeigte sich unverträglich, so dass AJAN in einen Einzelkennel umgesetzt wurde.AJAN möchte in seinem Zuhause Einzelprinz sein, andere Hunde braucht er nicht. Für ihn ist der Mensch sein ein und alles. Kontakt: Unsere Hunde sind geimpft (Tollwut und 2x Grundimmunisierung) sind gechippt und mit dem EU-Heimtierausweis ausgestattet werden auf unsere Kosten (wir übernehmen die Labor-Gebühren) auf die gängigen Mittelmeerkrankheiten getestet: Babesiose, Ehrlichiose, Leishmaniose, Rickettsien, Filarien, Hepatozoonose, Anaplasmose werden nur nach positiver Vorkontrolle (Hausbesuch) gegen eine Schutzgebühr mit Schutzvertrag vermittelt.
