Adopt Alicia +Leucemia

Mixed Breed · Female · Adult · 9 years

Alicia is a beautiful black cat who arrived at Triple A in February 2026 at the age of 16. After being tested, she tested positive for leukaemia, so she now lives in the room for cats with the condition alongside her fellow residents. Although she shares her space with other cats, Alicia prefers the peace and quiet of her scratching post and enjoys her own calm without interacting too much with the others. She is an older, serene and very special cat. She lets herself be stroked and, although she still has a touch of shyness, every day she is more open to receiving cuddles, strokes and the odd treat… which she loves hehe 🥰 Alicia deserves to spend her final years in a peaceful, cosy home full of love, where she can rest, feel safe and receive all the affection she so desperately needs. ✨ Give Alicia the chance to experience what a real home is like. 📩 Adoption enquiries: 📸 Follow us on Instagram:

About Alicia +Leucemia

What life with Alicia +Leucemia looks like

Alicia +Leucemia is a small adult mixed breed cat waiting at Triple A Marbella in Marbella.

An adult cat usually shows their personality within a week. Give them a quiet room with everything they need (food, water, litter, hiding spot) and let them choose when to explore. Don't force interaction — every cat decides for themselves when a new home counts as home.

🇪🇸Adopting from Spain

Spanish protectoras generally include sterilization, all vaccinations, microchip ID, and EU pet passport in the adoption fee (typically €250–€400 for a dog, €100–€180 for a cat). Many maintain partnerships with rescue transport providers across the EU.

Frequently asked

Adopting Alicia +Leucemia, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Alicia +Leucemia?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Triple A Marbella handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Alicia +Leucemia on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Alicia +Leucemia if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Triple A Marbella will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Alicia +Leucemia already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Alicia +Leucemia isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Triple A Marbella early rather than rehoming privately; they know Alicia +Leucemia and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
