Adopt Allie Cat

Mixed Breed Cat · Female · Kitten · 5 months

Allie Cat is a beautiful girl who was found as a stray, with areas of severe matting, she is now ready to start the search to find herself a new home. Allie Cat is a very energetic kitten who loves to play with her toys, she has a lot of playful energy so would love a home where she could be provided with plenty of playtime. She is a super sweet and affectionate girl who loves people, she thrives on company and enjoys gentle head rubs. She would love to find a home where her new owners are around most of the day to help her settle and adjust into her environment. Due to arriving with severe matting, Allie Cat does have areas of missing fur or bald patches, that will grow back over time. Her new owners will need to have experience of owning long hair cats and be able to keep on top of daily grooming. Due to her lively personality, Allie Cat would be best suited to a home with children over the age of 10 who have been around cats before. It is unknown how she would react around other animals, but she could possibly share her home with another cat or dog pending gradual introductions into the home.

About Allie Cat

What life with Allie Cat looks like

Allie Cat is a puppy/kitten mixed breed cat cat waiting at USPCA.

Kittens are tiny chaos engines for about six months and then mellow rapidly. They need two scheduled feedings, a litter box per cat plus one extra, and somewhere high to climb. Spay/neuter happens around six months — most shelters arrange this before adoption.

🇮🇪Adopting from Ireland

Irish shelters require a home check (often phone or video) and an adoption contract. Animals are vaccinated, chipped, and registered. Cross-border placements to mainland Europe require the rabies titer test (TRACES system).

Frequently asked

Adopting Allie Cat, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Allie Cat?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. USPCA handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Allie Cat on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Allie Cat if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — USPCA will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Allie Cat already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Allie Cat isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with USPCA early rather than rehoming privately; they know Allie Cat and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
