In everyday life, he shows himself to be incredibly playful and alert. During his first big photo shoot, just like his siblings, he was still somewhat unsure due to the completely new situation—but this quickly fades in daily life: As soon as you approach Antar and give him some attention, he immediately relaxes and enjoys the affection. Visually, he’s a real eye-catcher with his wiry coat, sweet whisker hairs, and a naturally short tail. Antar displays fabulous social behavior and gets along splendidly with other dogs. Cats have also been tested—he shows absolutely no interest in them. When he recently met children for the first time in his life, he showed his best side, simply being sweet and friendly. For his age, he has all the perfect prerequisites to quickly learn everything a puppy needs to know. 🐾 His Story: Antar’s story begins in a terrible place: He and his four siblings (Boo, Nasa, Antar, Kaga, and Saur) were found all alone on a garbage dump. Right next to them lay their mother, who unfortunately was hit by a car and died. One of our dedicated volunteers didn’t hesitate for a second and took the helpless puppies home with her. There, a little miracle happened: Another rescued dog mom readily accepted the five orphaned pups and lovingly raised them as if they were her own. Er zeigt sich im Alltag unheimlich verspielt und aufgeweckt. Beim ersten großen Fotoshooting war er zwar, genau wie seine Geschwister, durch die völlig neue Situation noch unsicher, doch das legt sich im Alltag schnell: Sobald man Antar näher kommt und ihm Aufmerksamkeit schenkt, entspannt er sich sofort und genießt die Zuwendung. Optisch ist er ein ganz besonderer Hingucker mit seinem drahtigen Fell, den süßen Schnurrhart-Härchen und einer von Natur aus kurzen Rute. Antar zeigt ein fabelhaftes Sozialverhalten und verträgt sich blendend mit anderen Hunden. Auch Katzen wurden bereits getestet - für diese interessiert er sich überhaupt nicht. Als er vor Kurzem zum ersten Mal in seinem Leben Kindern begegnete, zeigte er sich von seiner besten Seite und war einfach nur ganz lieb und freundlich. Für sein Alter bringt er beste Voraussetzungen mit, um das gesamte Welpen-Einmaleins im Handumdrehen zu lernen. 🐾 Seine Geschichte: Antars Geschichte beginnt an einem schrecklichen Ort: Er und seine vier Geschwister (Boo, Nasa, Antar, Kaga und Saur) wurden mutterseelenallein auf einer Mülldeponie gefunden. Direkt neben ihnen lag ihre Mutter, die leider von einem Auto angefahren wurde und verstarb. Eine unserer engagierten Freiwilligen zögerte keine Sekunde und nahm die hilflosen Welpen mit zu sich nach Hause. Dort geschah ein kleines Wunder: Eine andere gerettete Hundemutter nahm die fünf Waisenkinder ohne Zögern an und zog sie liebevoll wie ihre eigenen Welpen groß.
