Adopt Apollo – Vermittlungshilfe

Mixed Breed · Male · Adult · 6 years

Residence: foster home in 29640 Schneverdingen. Size/Weight: 39 cm and 22 kg. French Bulldog, male, vaccinated, microchipped. The cheerful cuddle bear – Apollo – is searching for a new family that he can wrap around their (or rather, their paws). He loves people and would prefer to cuddle all day. His current family can no longer give him this attention due to a change in their family situation, and they are reluctantly parting ways with Apollo. Apollo is particularly oriented towards humans and soaks up every loving word, every praise, and every pat like a sponge. He also behaves very nicely with children, provided he is not overly harassed. Apollo’s relationship with his fellow animals is excellent. Currently, he lives with three other bulls and gets along well. Apollo is playful and not a wimp, he can forgive small accidents during play and enjoys running wild in the garden with his friends. On walks, he already nips at other male dogs. However, if Apollo is securely and confidently led by his lead dog, he willingly leaves the pack security to the human and remains quiet. Apollo also behaves very politely towards cats and appreciates the company of the purring quadrupeds. Apollo also excels in other everyday competencies. He is house-trained, can stay alone for an appropriate amount of time without redecorating the house, can ride in the car without complaining, walks happily, and is well-leashable. Apollo also masters the basic commands with flair. We wish the sweet Apollo, who is so in love with humans, a loving home with someone who loves and accepts bulls, with their typical characteristics. Apollo is in the best dog age and would greatly appreciate a visit to dog training classes or a dog sports group. Without a doubt, Apollo would be a model student there, for Apollo loves everything where he can shine with his human. If interested in Apollo, please leave your full name and phone number so that Apollo’s foster family can contact you. Apollo will be rehomed. Contact: Linda Carl-Brambach – 6186637 (evening) Email:. Walks well on a leash.

Ansprechpartner: Linda Carl-Brambach – 6186637 (abends) E-Mail:

About Apollo – Vermittlungshilfe

What life with Apollo – Vermittlungshilfe looks like

Apollo – Vermittlungshilfe is a medium-sized adult mixed breed dog waiting at Hunde ohne Heimat e.V. in Bedburg.

An adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Apollo – Vermittlungshilfe, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Apollo – Vermittlungshilfe?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Hunde ohne Heimat e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Apollo – Vermittlungshilfe on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Apollo – Vermittlungshilfe if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Hunde ohne Heimat e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Apollo – Vermittlungshilfe already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Apollo – Vermittlungshilfe isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Hunde ohne Heimat e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Apollo – Vermittlungshilfe and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
