Due to his previous owner wearing a leash, Ares had not been walked for over a year and a half. This friendly bear showed very quickly that he is friendly towards people. From the first moment, he was friendly towards all the caretakers. Even towards the veterinarian, he was the epitome of kindness. He is clearly used to lying by the chair. He actively seeks out contact and does so with his full weight. Ares thinks he is a lap dog, but he is truly a 33 kg ball of pure love that nestles into your lap. We let him believe that he fits comfortably on your lap without any problems. Ares is eager to do things together. Toys are not yet very interesting, but playing with the human is clearly known. Hide-and-seek toys are also fun, but his concentration is currently short-lived. This can be built up; Ares will enjoy the mental stimulation. To meet Ares's chewing needs, hard toys are also recommended. Think of toys made from Kong, coffee bean, or olive wood. This bear is looking for people who can handle a little impact. When Ares does something, he does it for the full 100%. Only with friendly intentions. A house with a garden is important for Ares. Larger children are definitely an option.

Doordat zijn vorige eigenaar een enkelband droeg, werd er al anderhalf jaar niet meer gewandeld met Ares. Deze vriendelijke beer liet heel snel zien dat hij vriendelijk is naar mensen. Vanaf het eerste moment was hij vriendelijk naar alle verzorgers. Zelfs naar de dierenarts was hij de vriendelijkheid zelve. Hij is duidelijk gewend om erbij te liggen in de zetel. Hij zoekt graag contact en doet dit met zijn volle gewicht. Ares denkt dat hij een schoothondje is, maar het is toch echt 33 kg pure liefde dat zich op je schoot nestelt. We laten hem graag in de waan dat hij probleemloos op schoot past. Ares staat te popelen om samen dingen te doen. Speeltjes zijn nog niet heel interessant, maar stoeien met de mens is duidelijk gekend. Speurspellen zijn ook leuk, maar zijn concentratie is op dit moment van korte duur. Dit kan worden opgebouwd; Ares zal genieten van de mentale stimulans. Om Ares te voorzien in zijn kauwbehoefte zijn harde speeltjes ook aangeraden. Denk hierbij aan speeltjes van kong, koffieboon of olijfhout. Deze beer zoekt naar mensen die tegen een stootje kunnen. Als Ares iets doet, doet hij dit voor de volle 100 procent. Uitsluitend met vriendelijke bedoelingen. Een huis met tuin is belangrijk voor Ares. Grotere kinderen is zeker een optie.
