Country of Origin: Hungary Aria, the beautiful, came to the animal shelter on May 15, 2021, as a found dog. She was found near the city boundary of Kecskemét. Unfortunately, the origin of Aria and why she was alone on the way could not be determined, as the microchip checkup did not yield any results, and her owners did not contact the shelter. For Aria, it now means waiting to be discovered by loving people who would like to give her a new home. Despite this, Aria is a loving and friendly female dog, initially a bit reserved, who is happy to receive attention, cuddles, and love, which was likely a scarcity in her life. She walks well on a leash and will quickly catch up on any missed dog training if her new owners guide her lovingly. How she gets along with her fellow animals will be tested soon, and an update will follow. For our wonderful Aria, we are looking for enthusiastic and breed-experienced people who can give Aria a loving "Forever Home." Where she can finally feel safe and loved, where she can enjoy exciting walks, be challenged and supported, and live a happy and carefree life, with the past behind her. Update June 28, 2021: Unfortunately, Aria does not get along with her fellow animals and is looking for a place as a single princess. On June 23, 2024, a voluntary Hungarian helper writes: "Aria has been a resident of the animal shelter since 2021. On the mentor day, she had the opportunity to enjoy an exciting, exciting walk with her mentor. Aria left her kennel and set off on an active, lively walk, enjoying every minute. Finally, she could move freely and sniff around. She was on the leash. On the walks, she wanted to be pampered and stroked by her mentor. She is a people-oriented, affectionate, dog-friendly, nice dog. She would like to move as a single dog and currently lives alone in her kennel. Aria is waiting for her new, permanent, responsible owner and her family. She has been waiting for a safe home with lots of attention and affection for a long time. She would be very happy about regular, daily walks and exciting experiences with her owner and would like to be as close as possible to her family. She needs a lot of love, encouraging training, and patience during the adjustment period. Good luck, dear Aria!" On May 4, 2025, a voluntary, Hungarian helper writes: "Aria-3 walks nicely on the leash, does not pull or tug. She enjoys being able to sniff at will. She is cuddly, loving, and friendly. But she is also shy. When she saw another dog on the leash coming by, she immediately sought shelter with her mentor and observed the other dog without growling or becoming aggressive." With whom can Aria finally start anew and be happy? Since Aria is a staff mix, you need to inform yourself about the housing conditions in your community if you are interested in her. Herkunftsland: Ungarn Die wunderschöne Aria kam am 15.5.2021 als Fundhündin ins Tierheim. Sie war an der Stadtgrenze von Kecskemét unterwegs. Woher sie kam und warum sie alleine unterwegs war, konnte leider nicht rausgefunden werden, denn bei der Chipkontrolle wurde man nicht fündig und auch ihre Besitzer haben sich nicht im Tierheim gemeldet. Für Aria heisst das nun warten, bis sie von lieben Menschen entdeckt wird, welche ihr ein neues Zuhause schenken möchten. Trotz allem ist Aria eine liebe und freundliche Hündin, zuerst etwas zurückhaltend, die sich freut, wenn man ihr etwas Aufmerksamkeit, Streicheleinheiten und Liebe schenkt, was wohl bisher Mangelware in ihrem Leben war. An der Leine läuft sie schon recht gut und auch das Versäumte vom Hunde-ABC wird sie schnell aufgeholt haben, wenn ihre neuen Menschen sie liebevoll anleiten. Wie sie mit ihren Artgenossen auskommt wird demnächst getestet und ein Update folgt. Für unsere tolle Aria suchen wir begeisterte und hunde/rasseerfahrene Menschen welche Aria ein liebevolles „Für immer Zuhause“ schenken. Wo sie sich endlich geborgen und geliebt fühlen kann, wo sie spannende Spaziergänge geniessen darf, gefordert und gefördet wird, liebevoll aber konsequent geführt wird und einfach ein glückliches und sorgloses Leben führen darf und die Vergangenheit hinter sich lassen kann. Update 28.6.2021: Wir suchen einen Platz als Einzelprinzessin, da Aria die Nähe zu Hunden erst noch erlernen muss. Am 4.5.2025 schreibt eine freiwillige, ungarische Helferin: "Aria-3 läuft brav an der Leine, zieht und zerrt nicht. Sie geniesst es, nach Belieben schnüffeln zu können. Sie ist verschmust, liebevoll und freundlich. Aber sie ist auch schüchtern. Wenn sie einen anderen Hund an der Leine kommen sieht, sucht sie Schutz sofort bei ihrem Mentor und beobachtete den anderen Hund, ohne zu knurren oder aggressiv zu werden." Update 12.07.2026: Bei den Spaziergängen sind andere Hunde für sie kein Thema. Natürlich halten wir immer 1-2 Meter Abstand. Aria ist kein aggressiver Hund, sondern eher die zurückhaltende Hündin, welche die Nähe von Artgenossen nur erlernen muss. Aria zieht überhaupt nicht an der Leine und geniesst ihre Spaziergänge. Sie ist verschmust, liebevoll und freundlich zu allen Menschen. Leider lebt sie in einem Einzelzwinger, wie so fast alle Listenhunde im Menhely. Da Aria ein Staffmix ist, müssen Sie sich bei Interesse an ihr, sich erst in Ihrer Wohngemeinde über deren Haltungsbedingungen informieren. Aria ist reisefertig.
