Atenea was surrendered to our partner animal shelter—Protectora Villena / Spain. Unfortunately, we don’t know the exact circumstances surrounding her arrival. Atenea is an agile, friendly dog who simply doesn’t understand why she has to be in the shelter. And how could she? She’s a sensitive soul who has to cope with the noise (barking from many other dogs) and the impersonal atmosphere of daily shelter life. That’s precisely why it’s so important that this treasure soon finds a loving home where she can feel truly welcomed. At first, Atenea approaches people shyly and needs time to build trust. With her fellow dogs, she displays typical puppy-like playfulness. Atenea still has much to learn regarding polite leash walking, house training, and being left alone for an appropriate amount of time. Atenea needs people who can offer her love—and above all, guidance and a sense of belonging. People who enjoy training an agile young dog, because after all, Atenea needs both physical and mental stimulation. Attending dog school should definitely be part of her new life. Atenea is vaccinated and microchipped. When traveling, she carries her own vaccination record. After a positive preliminary interview and a home visit, Atenea will be placed in a loving home subject to a protection contract and a protection fee of 390 euros. Atenea ist eine Terrier Mix H ündin, geboren ca. 02/2026, mit einer Größe von momentan 40 cm und einem Gewicht von ca. 5 ,5 kg. Atenea wurde in unserem Partnertierheim – Protectora Villena / Spanien – abgegeben. Genaue Hintergründe kennen wir leider nicht. Atenea ist eine agile, freundliche Hündin, die gerade nicht versteht warum sie im Tierheim sein muss. Wie auch? Sie ist eine sensible Fellnase und muss mit dem Lärm (Bellen der vielen anderen Hunde) und der wenig persönlichen Atmosphäre im Tierheimalltag umgehen. Deshalb ist es so wichtig, dass dieser Schatz sehr bald ein Zuhause findet, wo sie ankommen darf. Menschen begegnet Atenea zunächst schüchtern und braucht Zeit um Vertrauen aufzubauen. Mit ihren Artgenossen zeigt sie sich junghundetypisch verspielt. Das manierliche Gehen an der Leine, Stubenrein werden und einen angemessen Zeitraum alleine bleiben, muss Atenea alles noch lernen. Atenea braucht Menschen, die ihr Liebe und vor allen Dingen Orientierung und Zugehörigkeit bieten. Menschen die Freude am Training mit einer agilen Junghündin haben, schließlich möchte Atenea körperlich und geistig ausgelastet werden. Ein Hundeschulbesuch sollte selbstverständlich sein.
