💗 Aylin 💗 CHRISTINA (ANTO) 📍 Location: Germany, Obing (Bavaria) - can be visited in person 🐾 General Information: Name: AYLIN Age: Born on 12.06.2024 Gender: Female 🐾 Health: General Condition: brave and adaptable, learning to navigate everyday life with three legs Immunization Status: basic immunization received Spay Status: spayed Weight: approx. 15 kg Special Feature: missing left front leg The descriptions of the dogs by the foster homes are based on current impressions on site and do not guarantee the future behavior or development of the dog. 🐾 Character & Behavior: Aylin is an exceptionally loving, gentle, and sensitive female dog who has unfortunately experienced a great deal of trauma in her short life. Due to her past, she is very sensitive and sound-sensitive - loud or sudden noises greatly unsettle her. Currently, deep male voices especially make her very afraid. However, Aylin shows no fear towards women. She is initially very cautious, reserved, and hides herself, but is not closed off. Once she realizes that you mean her well, she slowly begins to trust. The pretty female dog gets along excellently with other dogs; she is absolutely social and compatible. Despite her handicap, she shows remarkable bravery in everyday life and adapts to circumstances step by step. 🐾 Her Story: Aylin's start in life was incredibly difficult. She was born in a remote, wild pack far from any civilization. Forgotten by the world, the pack suffered from severe hunger, cold, and the wetness of winter. Only a brave woman knew of the existence of the dogs and secretly brought them some water. It is likely due to the extreme lack of food that serious fights broke out in the pack, resulting in Aylin being so severely injured that she ultimately lost her left front leg. What this sensitive female dog has endured is hard to put into words - and the more wonderful it is that she has preserved her deep kindness despite all that. 🐾 Special Features: Extraordinarily gentle, loving, and sensitive Social and excellent with other dogs Cautious but warm up quickly Traumatized and very sound-sensitive (afraid of male voices) Very brave in dealing with her handicap (three-legged) 🐾 AYLIN's Dream Home: For Aylin, we wish for a very special, quiet, and experienced home with people who have a lot of empathy, patience, and inner strength, who are familiar with traumatized dogs. Aylin needs time, a great deal of security, soft voices, and reliable hands that show her how wonderful dog life can be. An independent only dog that she can orient herself by would certainly be a great help in her new home. 💌 How You Can Help:. Gets along with other dogs.

About Aylin

What life with Aylin looks like

Aylin is a large young adult mixed breed dog waiting at Hund sucht Hütte in Austria.

An young adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. A larger dog like this one needs daily off-leash time when possible — a fenced yard or regular access to safe walking trails. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇦🇹Adopting from Austria

Austrian shelters follow the federal Tierschutzgesetz framework: adopters sign a Schutzvertrag (protection contract) committing to the animal's welfare. Spay/neuter, microchip, and vaccinations are included; fees typically range €150–€350.

Frequently asked

Adopting Aylin, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Aylin?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Hund sucht Hütte handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Aylin on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Aylin if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Hund sucht Hütte will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Aylin already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Aylin isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Hund sucht Hütte early rather than rehoming privately; they know Aylin and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
