Bailey is a Kangal female dog born in August 2019, who was taken to the animal shelter by authorities and is now ready for a new home. She lived with her previous owner in a house and garden in a rural area. Bailey is a very gentle and sensitive dog. She is very people-oriented and clingy with her trusted individuals. She is a bit shy around strangers and takes a few minutes to warm up, but avoids any conflicts. The stately female dog appears to have not had much experience outside her garden. She now walks fairly well on a leash, but is often still nervous and stressed due to environmental stimuli. Encounters with people and cyclists pose little problem for her. Encounters with other dogs also work well with a bit of distance (currently about 5 meters). With further training and practice, this should become more relaxed. In direct contact, she shows a bit of shyness, but is very nice. She rides well in the car and is accustomed to a muzzle. Being alone should not be a problem for her, and she is also well-behaved with house training. We are looking for a quieter home in the countryside for her, a garden would be a requirement for Bailey.

Bailey ist eine im August 2019 geborene Kangal-Hündin, die als behördliche Abnahme ins Tierheim kam und jetzt bereit ist für ein neues Zuhause. Sie lebte beim Vorbesitzer in Haus und Garten im ländlichen Bereich. Bailey ist eine sehr sanfte und sensible Hündin. Sie ist bei ihren Vertrauenspersonen sehr menschenbezogen und anlehnungsbedürftig. Bei fremden Menschen ist sie ein bisschen schüchtern und braucht ein paar Minuten zum Auftauen, geht aber jeglichen Konflikten aus dem Weg. Die stattliche Hundedame hat allem Anschein nach außerhalb ihres Gartens früher nicht viel kennenlernen dürfen. Sie geht mittlerweile recht brav an der Leine, ist aber wegen der Umweltreize oft noch nervös und gestresst dabei. Begegnungen mit Menschen und Radfahrern stellen für sie wenig Probleme dar. Auch Begegnungen mit anderen Hunden klappen mit ein bisschen Abstand (ca. 5 m aktuell) auch schon sehr gut. Mit weiterem Training und Übung sollte das aber auch recht schnell entspannter werden. Im direkten Kontakt zeigt sie sich ein bisschen schüchtern, aber durchaus sehr nett. Sie fährt brav im Auto mit und ist gut an einen Maulkorb gewöhnt. Das Alleinbleiben sollte für sie kein Problem darstellen und sie zeigt sich auch brav stubenrein. Wir suchen für sie ein eher ruhigeres Zuhause am Land, ein vorhandener Garten wäre für Bailey eine Bedingung.
