He greets all visitors and caregivers kindly and openly without being pushy or intrusive. At the animal shelter, he is known as the "kiss-giving champion" and loves to climb onto people's laps. So, if you're looking for a big "cuddle world champion" paired with lots of joy and cheer, then Balin is the perfect companion for you. The animal caretakers report that he has a balanced nature: he shows neither fears nor aggression, so he might be able to thrive in a slightly more frequented environment if given the opportunity to run and tire himself out in the green. The compatible little dwarf runs through the run all day with his four-legged friends. He loves to play and gets along well with all other dogs. He is definitely not a match for a peaceful "only dog" in his new home, but it is not a must. Balin is described as having an uncomplicated character.
