Adopt BEKY

Female · Kitten · 4 months

BEKY is a Romanian dog. She arrived in France, in our association mid-October 2025. She was pregnant and a few days after her arrival, she gave birth to 9 puppies: Arlo, Aïko, Aïka, Aya, Ariel, Alya, Aslo, Aly and Sharlyy. Update as of 25/03/2026: BEKY is a lovely dog who loves being petted and cuddled. She loves playing with other dogs. BEKY is a submissive dog. She is also okay with cats. BEKY is also a good guard dog with very well-developed hearing. She needs a home because she was traumatized by her abandonment and as soon as someone wants to take her out on a leash she immediately thinks they are going to abandon her. Her foster family continues to work on this issue. With time and patience, it should get better. BEKY is a dog who deserves her family and has a golden personality. In foster care with Karyne and Fred.

About BEKY

What life with BEKY looks like

BEKY is a puppy/kitten cat waiting at Refuge Rêves de chiens in Viry-Châtillon.

Kittens are tiny chaos engines for about six months and then mellow rapidly. They need two scheduled feedings, a litter box per cat plus one extra, and somewhere high to climb. Spay/neuter happens around six months — most shelters arrange this before adoption.

🇫🇷Adopting from France

French refuges follow the SPA framework: adopters sign a cession contract that includes sterilization, vaccinations, microchip identification, and rabies passport. Fees are typically €150–€300. Many refuges work with rescue transport partners for cross-border placements.

Frequently asked

Adopting BEKY, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about BEKY?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Refuge Rêves de chiens handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw BEKY on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt BEKY if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Refuge Rêves de chiens will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is BEKY already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if BEKY isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Refuge Rêves de chiens early rather than rehoming privately; they know BEKY and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (FR). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
