Give Bella some time and she will give you her whole heart. Meet Bella, a female dog almost 6 years old. Originally from Greece, where she stayed in a shelter with her pups. Since 2021, she has been adopted by a Dutch couple. It has always gone well, until Bella started to have outbursts towards visitors. The owners have dealt with this behavior, with varying results. Because Bella is their first dog, they have come to the difficult decision to look for a new, experienced owner who can better support and guide Bella. Bella shows friendly behavior with us. She wants to get to know you, but once the ice is broken, Bella is your best friend. Hugging has become her favorite hobby. Outside, Bella is great. She uses her nose well and walks nicely with you. Bella is used to going out with a walking service and that has always gone very well. For Bella, calmness and patience are very important, she needs to get to know someone at her own pace. Nothing should be forced with her, and she needs time to adjust and gain trust in a new situation. When Bella has gained trust, she is truly a lifelong companion. Therefore, we are looking for a home for Bella without young children. Quiet people who have experience with uncertain dogs and want to take all the time needed to make Bella feel comfortable. Geef Bella even de tijd en ze geeft je haar hele hart. Maak kennis met Bella, een teefje van bijna 6 jaar oud. Oorspronkelijk komt Bella uit Griekenland waar zij met haar pups in een opvang verbleef. Sinds 2021 is ze geadopteerd door een Nederlands stel. Dit is altijd heel goed gegaan, totdat Bella een paar keer is uitgevallen naar bezoek. De eigenaren zijn met dit gedrag aan de slag gegaan, met wisselend resultaat. Omdat Bella hun eerste hond is, zijn zij tot het moeilijke besluit gekomen om op zoek te gaan naar een nieuwe, ervaren eigenaar die Bella hierin beter kan ondersteunen en begeleiden. Bella laat bij ons vriendelijk gedrag zien. Ze wil je even leren kennen maar zodra het ijs is gebroken, is Bella je beste vriendin. Knuffelen is ondertussen haar favoriete hobby geworden. Buiten zijn vindt Bella fantastisch. Ze gebruikt haar neusje goed en loopt keurig met je mee. Bella is gewend om mee te gaan met een uitlaatservice en dat is altijd hartstikke goed gegaan. Een tijd geleden hebben we Bella herplaatst. Helaas liet zij na een tijdje heftig uitvalgedrag zien wederom naar bezoek. Omdat dit een deuk in het vertrouwen heeft veroorzaakt, hebben de nieuwe eigenaren haar met veel verdriet teruggebracht. Voor Bella is rust en geduld erg belangrijk, dat ze op haar eigen tempo iemand mag leren kennen. Er moet bij haar niets geforceerd worden en ze heeft de tijd nodig om te wennen en vertrouwen te krijgen in een nieuwe situatie. Wanneer Bella eenmaal vertrouwen heeft, is ze echt een maatje voor het leven. Als er bezoek langskomt, is het voor Bella heel belangrijk dat ze een plek heeft waar zij zich terug kan trekken en met rust gelaten wordt. Een thuis waarbij de deur wordt platgelopen is niet geschikt voor haar. We zoeken voor Bella naar een thuis zonder jonge kinderen. Rustige mensen die ervaring hebben met onzekere honden en alle tijd willen nemen om Bella op haar gemak te stellen. Bella is gewend aan een huis met (grote) tuin, en daar ligt ze echt heel graag.
