adoption requirements adoption process Request this animal now! adoption requirements adoption process Request this cat now! Bella Rose was found alone on a cold, rainy evening. She was thin, frightened, and probably abandoned. Despite this difficult start, she quickly showed her true nature after being rescued: trusting, gentle, and full of love. Bella Rose is an exceptionally affectionate cat with a calm character. She is attentive, sensitive, and enjoys cuddles to the fullest. Every affection is met with warm purring. She seeks closeness without being pushy, and brings a pleasant calm to every home. Bella Rose gets along well with other cats. Dogs have not been tested. Free roaming is not an option for her. Bella Rose is spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and treated for fleas. She has tested positive for FIV. However, this is not a reason not to adopt her if you fall in love with her. FIV is a viral disease that can weaken the immune system. Nevertheless, FIV-positive cats can live just as long as those that test negative. The virus is only transmitted to other cats, humans and other animals cannot become infected. Transmission is only possible through severe bite wounds. An FIV-positive and an FIV-negative cat can live together without problems, sharing bowls and sleeping places, provided they are socially compatible. Due to the spaying, a possible transmission through sexual contact is also eliminated. After a positive Bella Rose is ready for a place where she never has to feel cold or afraid again, but instead experiences security, warmth, and affection. A heartfelt thank you to godmother Eva-Maria H., who has accompanied Bella Rose and made her path to a safe future possible. Date: 04.03.

Stand: 04.03.2026

About Bella Rose

What life with Bella Rose looks like

Bella Rose is a puppy/kitten mixed breed cat waiting at Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. in München.

Kittens are tiny chaos engines for about six months and then mellow rapidly. They need two scheduled feedings, a litter box per cat plus one extra, and somewhere high to climb. Spay/neuter happens around six months — most shelters arrange this before adoption.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Bella Rose, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Bella Rose?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Bella Rose on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Bella Rose if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Bella Rose already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Bella Rose isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Bella Rose and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
