Benji is a happy boy who is the definition of a lap dog! He loves to be close to his people and is instantly friendly with strangers, immediately asking for cuddles. He's been fairly relaxed in kennels, sitting patiently when being clipped up for walks, and walks very nicely on the lead. He's not a fan of the vets, so he will need to be muzzled during his visits to keep himself comfortable and safe. Benji loves to explore new places and, with a little reassurance, is happy to jump into the car. He eats very well and loves his treats, and enjoys playing with his toys when given some encouragement. Benji will make for a lovely addition to a relaxed, playful home where he can shine! Benji is a gorgeous little bundle of energy who will need to be rehomed with his kennel mate, Belle. He is a very affectionate dog who loves attention, so he is able to live with primary school aged children in the home. His training level is basic, but he has lots of potential to learn more! A private garden is not essential for Benji, but he'll need some local secure spaces for him to let off some steam. He has a history of being left for up to 4 hours, but any time longer than that should be gradually built up. Benji will be happy having visitors in the home, and is able to live in an open plan home.
