Herdenschutzhund-Mix neutered male dog, born 2014 | Height: 57 cm | Weight: 30 kg | Children: see text | Cats: no | Dogs: see text vaccinated, microchipped, and available for adoption. This animal can be adopted with a suitable place after sufficient getting-to-know each other. Benno was given up to the animal shelter together with female dog Tessa. The two oldies unfortunately lost their home after their owner passed away and now, unfortunately, their owner can no longer take care of the dogs due to health reasons. Therefore, with a heavy heart, a solution for the two was sought. Benno and Tessa are both Herdenschutzhund mixes, but they are well socialized and approach people relatively openly. Both are initially skeptical with strangers and need time to warm up to new people. A senior-friendly place (without many stairs, preferably ground-level) with an enclosed garden is sought, as they like to be outside. Benno has age-related problems with the musculoskeletal system, appears slightly worse, and has to go out more often at night to do his business. However, if he has the opportunity, he shows he is house-trained. An accessible ground-level garden would be ideal. Benno and Tessa have met children, but they have not lived with children directly. They are more skeptical with other, unfamiliar dogs but get along very well with each other. An ideal place for the two oldies would be optimal, as they harmonize very well with each other and make a quiet, pleasant pair.

Benno wurde gemeinsam mit Hündin Tessa im Tierheim abgegeben. Die beiden Oldie`s haben leider ihr Zuhause verloren, nachdem zuerst ihr Herrchen verstarb und sich nun leider auch ihr Frauchen aus gesundheitlichen Gründen nicht mehr länger um die Hunde kümmern kann. Es wurde daher mit schwerem Herzen eine Lösung für die beiden gesucht. Benno und Tessa sind beides Herdenschutz-Hund Mischlinge, sind aber gut sozialisiert und gehen relativ offen auf Menschen zu. Rassetypisch sind beide bei Fremden anfangs skeptisch und brauchen Zeit, um mit neuen Menschen warm zu werden. Gesucht wird unbedingt ein seniortauglicher Platz (ohne viele Stufen, möglichst ebenerdig) mit eingezäuntem Garten, da sie sich gerne draußen aufhalten. Benno hat altersbedingt Probleme mit dem Bewegungsapparat, sieht bereits etwas schlechter und muss nachts öfters raus, um sein Geschäft zu verrichten. Wenn er die Möglichkeit dazu hat, zeigt er sich aber brav stubenrein. Ein ebenerdig zugänglicher Garten wäre ideal. Benno und Tessa haben Kinder kennengelernt, das direkte Zusammenleben mit Kindern kennen sie aber nicht. Bei anderen, fremden Hunden sind sie eher skeptisch, untereinander aber sehr gut verträglich. Optimal wäre ein gemeinsamer Platz für die beiden Oldie`s, denn sie harmonieren sehr gut miteinander und sind ein ruhiges, angenehmes Pärchen.
