Der zweijährige Rüde begegnet fremden Menschen anfangs noch etwas schüchtern und zurückhaltend. Vor allem Männern gegenüber zeigt er sich hier sehr misstrauisch. Er braucht etwas Zeit, um Vertrauen zu fassen und sich auf neue Menschen einzulassen. Wer ihm diese Zeit gibt und ihn nicht bedrängt, wird jedoch einen tollen Begleiter an seiner Seite haben, denn hier genießt er die Streicheleinheiten von seinen Bezugspersonen sehr. Als wachsamer Hund behält Berry sei Grundstück zuverlässig im Blick. Fremde Personen meldet er durch Bellen und zeigt sich dabei aufmerksam und territorial. Das Zusammenleben mit anderen Hunden kennt Berry bereits. Auch an der Leine läuft er schon gut und bringt damit eine schöne Grundlage für gemeinsame Spaziergänge mit.
