Bianka

Mixed Breed · Unknown · Young · 2 years

Bianka is a young dog who was found along with her sisters Betty and Blanka at a well-known dog dumping site. Unfortunately, this still happens regularly in Romania. Fortunately, they were found in time and placed under rescuer Ioana. Bianka is estimated to have been born in August 2024. She has now grown into a young dog about 50 cm tall and weighs around 18 kg. Like her sisters, she is cheerful and playful. Additionally, she is active but not overly energetic. She enjoys moving and playing, but can also settle down well. Bianka loves people and seeks contact. Although she likes to walk and play with her sister Betty, she also shows that she can be independent. For example, she went to a vet visit without her sister, which was no problem for her. Therefore, we expect Bianka to adapt well in a new family. As with every young dog, Bianka still needs to learn the basics of house dog life. Therefore, we are looking for an adopter with time, patience, and love to guide her in this. Finally, Bianka is ready to start her own adventure. She is microchipped, spayed, and has her vaccinations. Who will give Bianka a warm home where she can grow up to be a happy house dog? About Bianka

What life with Bianka looks like

Bianka is a young adult mixed breed dog waiting at Stichting Help een Hond in Netherlands.

An young adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇳🇱Adopting from Netherlands

Dutch shelters typically require a household assessment and an adoption contract. Animals are routinely sterilized, microchipped, and registered in the national pet database (NDG) before placement.

Frequently asked

Adopting Bianka, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Bianka?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Stichting Help een Hond handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Bianka on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Bianka if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Stichting Help een Hond will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Bianka already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Bianka isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Stichting Help een Hond early rather than rehoming privately; they know Bianka and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (NL). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
