Magus is housed at Swiss Ranch. We provide placement assistance for the Tierschutz-Zentrum/Swiss Ranch. Magus's monthly care costs on average 100,-CHF, for which we seek sponsors. For 2026, monthly sponsorships are covered as follows: One-time donations: 0,-CHF Total so far: 0,-CHF ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Current Description May 2026: Mgus arrived at the animal shelter with the help of animal welfare officers. It is no longer clear exactly how he lost his family and why he suddenly found himself alone. What is certain, however, is that he now has the chance for a new beginning. Finally, he can hope to find people who will love him, give him security, and never leave him. He is a young, energetic dog full of joy and curiosity. Much seems new to him, so he must discover the world step by step. It is likely that he has not been given much attention so far, but despite everything, he shows himself to be an incredibly lovable and playful young dog. Magus is delighted by any form of attention and enjoys human contact very much. He also gets along well with other dogs. Currently, he lives together with Smile in the paddock, and the two have quickly become friends. They play exuberantly with each other and create early moments of the day together. Magus brings everything with him to become a wonderful companion—he simply needs people who will give him time, patience, and loving guidance. Magus is looking for a home with people who take joy in showing a young dog the world and growing together with him. He needs loving people who not only want to cuddle and play with him but also patiently train and give him security. As he is very social, he could also imagine having a friendly doggy companion by his side. Above all, Mgus wishes for a home where he can arrive, be loved, and stay forever. *Should more donations than specified be received, they will be used for association purposes. About Bitte spenden Sie hier

What life with Bitte spenden Sie hier looks like

Bitte spenden Sie hier is a young adult mixed breed dog waiting at Pfotenhilfe-Ungarn e.V. in Schnarup-Thumby.

An young adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Bitte spenden Sie hier, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Bitte spenden Sie hier?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Pfotenhilfe-Ungarn e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Bitte spenden Sie hier on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Bitte spenden Sie hier if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Pfotenhilfe-Ungarn e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Bitte spenden Sie hier already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Bitte spenden Sie hier isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Pfotenhilfe-Ungarn e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Bitte spenden Sie hier and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
