Bruno is housed at Swiss Ranch. We provide placement assistance for the Swiss Ranch Animal Shelter. The monthly care for Bruno costs on average 100.00 CHF, for which we seek sponsors. For 2026, monthly sponsorships are available: Mrs. M. T. 10.00 CHF, Mr. S. S. 30.00 CHF. One-time donations: 0.00 CHF. For 2026 so far: 120.00 CHF. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Current Description April 2025: Brünn, a quiet treasure on the lookout for his happiness ♥ Brünn, this approximately 8-year-old, gentle puppy, came to us from Bugac. One day, we received the news that he had strolled into the yard of a single-family home almost as if he had sensed that perhaps he might find help there. Perhaps it was hope, perhaps it was his last strength that led him there. Fortunately, the people there showed a big heart. They did not chase him away but informed us, and so Brünn could be brought to safety. Brünn is a very modest dog who does not make many demands. A warm spot, a few loving cuddles, and a person who he can be important to – that’s all he needs to be happy. He is no longer the energetic puppy who wanted to conquer the world; rather, he is a calm, experienced dog who more values the peace and closeness to his people than anything else. Where Brünn originally came from, what he experienced and endured on his journey, we unfortunately do not know. But one thing we are certain of: he is lovable, infinitely grateful, and incredibly patient. Now, Brünn waits for what he so deserves – a loving home where he can finally belong. A place where he can stay. A spot where he can receive all the love he has longed for. If you are looking for a loyal, calm companion – a dog who has long passed the stormy puppy phase but whose heart is still full of love – then Brünn is waiting for you exactly. *Should more donations be received than specified, they will be used for the association’s purposes. About Bitte spenden Sie hier

What life with Bitte spenden Sie hier looks like

Bitte spenden Sie hier is a senior mixed breed dog waiting at Pfotenhilfe-Ungarn e.V. in Schnarup-Thumby.

Senior dogs settle in faster than younger ones. They want a soft bed, predictable meals, and short, sniff-heavy walks rather than runs. Many senior rescues bond deeply within weeks because they understand exactly how good a stable home is. Expect occasional vet visits for joint or dental care.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Bitte spenden Sie hier, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Bitte spenden Sie hier?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Pfotenhilfe-Ungarn e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Bitte spenden Sie hier on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Bitte spenden Sie hier if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Pfotenhilfe-Ungarn e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Bitte spenden Sie hier already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Bitte spenden Sie hier isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Pfotenhilfe-Ungarn e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Bitte spenden Sie hier and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
