Maak kennis met Bluey: een vrolijke jongedame met prachtige blauwe ogen en een hart vol liefde! Soms loopt het leven anders dan je hoopt… Zo is ook Bluey bij ons terechtgekomen. Door veranderingen in haar vorige gezin gingen haar mensen-ouders uit elkaar en werd er kleiner gewoond. Helaas was er daardoor geen plekje meer voor deze lieve meid. Nu hopen we voor haar een nieuw thuis te vinden waar ze mag opgroeien tot de prachtige hond die ze in zich heeft. Bluey is een Staffordshire Bull Terrier van ongeveer 6 maanden oud. Met haar schitterende blauwe ogen, vrolijke snoet en enthousiaste karakter weet ze ongetwijfeld heel wat harten te veroveren! Ze is een echte mensenliefhebber, leergierig en heeft energie voor tien. Samen op avontuur, zoekspelletjes doen of heerlijk met haar neus door het bos struinen? Daar wordt ze helemaal blij van! Maar Bluey is natuurlijk nog een jonge hond en de wereld is soms best groot en spannend. Er valt nog veel te leren en ze heeft een baasje nodig dat haar daarin liefdevol en geduldig begeleidt. Nieuwe mensen vindt ze soms even spannend, maar haar nieuwsgierigheid wint het gelukkig vaak en dan komt ze graag kennismaken. Ook wandelen aan de lijn is nog volop in ontwikkeling. Nieuwe indrukken kunnen haar soms wat overweldigen, waardoor ze hulp nodig heeft om rustig te blijven en de wereld stap voor stap te ontdekken. Een leuke hondencursus, samen trainen en op een positieve manier oefenen zullen haar dan ook ontzettend goed doen. Met de juiste begeleiding kan Bluey nog heel veel leren!Bluey zoekt een stabiel thuis waar ze de tijd en aandacht krijgt die ze nodig heeft. Een baasje dat het leuk vindt om met haar aan de slag te gaan, haar grenzen begrijpt en haar helpt om zelfverzekerd op te groeien. Veel veranderingen en wisselingen zijn voor haar niet ideaal; ze heeft vooral behoefte aan rust, duidelijkheid en voorspelbaarheid.Ze is gewend om in huis in een bench te slapen, die ze als een veilige plek ervaart. In haar vorige thuis woonde ze samen met kinderen, al kon ze daar wel wat enthousiast van worden. Ze heeft eerder geen problemen ervaren met mensen of dieren. Een eventuele match moet uiteraard zorgvuldig worden bekeken, zodat iedereen zich prettig en veilig voelt.Houd er rekening mee dat Bluey nog flink zal groeien en waarschijnlijk een stevige, krachtige dame wordt. En omdat ze tot een ras behoort waarvoor extra kennis en verantwoordelijkheid belangrijk zijn, zoeken we iemand die zich goed verdiept heeft in het ras en ervaring heeft met, of zich serieus wil verdiepen in, de begeleiding van dit type hond.Ook haar zindelijkheid en het alleen thuis blijven vragen nog aandacht. In de kennel is zindelijk worden lastiger en alleen thuis zijn zal, net als bij iedere jonge hond, rustig verder moeten worden opgebouwd.
