Joyfulness, friendliness and I am right in the middle of life. I am a real sweetheart and a true everyone's friend. I love going out. Long walks are very nice for me and I can also easily go for a walk. Other dogs I definitely find completely fine, if I am on a leash I sometimes bark at them, but if my owner guides me a little bit, there is nothing wrong. When I was younger I always lived on a farm where I could be outside a lot, which I like, but I prefer it especially with my owner. I can also entertain myself, but here at the shelter they notice that I really appreciate the company of people. In recent years I have lived in a terrace house, which suited me just fine. I can come sit with you for a cuddle. At first I may seem a bit nervous, but that is because I have not been at the shelter for very long and I think that is a strange situation. It is expected that I will quickly form a bond with my new owners and in a home situation I can really relax. I like to chase cats, so I don't want to live with them. I find people and children of all ages extremely nice. Living with children depends entirely on your experience with dogs and the connection between me and you. Do you like lovely walks and a dog who can take care of the house for a while if needed, but also goes everywhere with you? In that sense, I am an easygoing and versatile dog of a nicely manageable size who loves to enrich the lives of others with my cheerful presence. Boris is still scheduled with our veterinarian for a dental cleaning, as we would like him to leave the shelter with a beautiful smile, but he can certainly meet potential new owners already. Vrolijkheid, gezelligheid en ik sta midden in het leven. Ik ben een ontzettende lieverd en een echte allemansvriend. Ik vind het heerlijk om op stap te zijn. lange wandelingen vind ik heel erg leuk en kan dan ook prima loslopen. Andere honden vind ik zeker los helemaal prima, als ik aan de lijn zit kan ik wel eens naar ze blaffen, maar als mijn baas me hier een beetje in begeleid dan is er niks aan de hand. Toen ik jonger was heb ik altijd op een boerderij gewoond waar ik ook veel buiten kon zijn, dat vind ik fijn, maar wel het liefst samen met de baas erbij. Alleen kan ik me ook wel vermaken hoor, maar hier op het asiel merken ze dat ik het gezelschap van mensen heel erg waardeer. De laatste jaren heb ik in een rijtjeswoning gewoond, wat mij ook prima beviel. Ik kan heerlijk bij je komen zitten voor een knuffel. In het begin kan ik wat zenuwachtig overkomen, maar dat komt omdat ik nog niet zo lang in het asiel verblijf en dat vind ik maar een gekke situatie. De verwachting is dat ik in een huis snel een band op zal bouwen met mijn nieuwe baasjes en in een huissituatie kan ik ook echt gewoon lekker mijn rust pakken. Katten ga ik graag achteraan, dus daar wil ik niet mee samen wonen. Mensen en kinderen van alle leeftijden vind ik ontzettend gezellig. Samenwonen met kinderen hangt helemaal af van de ervaring met honden en de klik tussen mij en jou. Hou je van heerlijke wandelingen en een hond die echt wel eventjes op het huis kan passen als het nodig is, maar ook lekker met je mee gaat overal waar het kan? Ik ben in die zin een makkelijke en veelzijdige hond van een lekker handzaam formaat die graag het leven van andere verrijkt met mijn vrolijke aanwezigheid. Boris staat nog ingepland bij onze dierenarts voor een gebitsreiniging, we willen namelijk wel dat hij met een mooie glimlach ons asiel gaat verlaten, maar hij kan al zeker wel kennismaken met potentiële nieuwe baasjes.
