Adopt BORIS

Mixed Breed · Male

Story of BORIS – from the streets, to people's hearts 🐾 On April 24, 2024, Boris was saved from the streets of Bacau city and brought safely to Ringo Land Romania. He was a gentle soul, but scared, with always attentive eyes and timid steps. He had not been seriously abused, but life on the street, always on alert, had left deep marks of insecurity. Soon after being rescued, Boris entered the behavioral and emotional rehabilitation program at the Dog Rehabilitation Centre, run with dedication by the No Limit Pets Association. Alongside our trainers, he learned what patience, trust, and especially true love mean. Step by step, Boris opened up. He learned to walk on a leash, he began to accept people with joy, not fear. Today, he gets along wonderfully with other dogs and even with the cats in the center. He has a calm and curious soul, always eager for a caress or a moment of play. Boris is a beautiful dog, with fur in warm shades of white and light brown, a mix that perfectly reflects his personality: peaceful, gentle, and bright. All he lacks now is a family. A place of his own, where he can feel loved and safe for the rest of his life.

About BORIS

What life with BORIS looks like

BORIS is a large adult mixed breed dog waiting at No Limit Pets in Romania.

An adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. A larger dog like this one needs daily off-leash time when possible — a fenced yard or regular access to safe walking trails. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇷🇴Adopting from Romania

Romanian rescues handle the highest volume of cross-border adoptions in the EU. Animals are quarantined and fully vetted before transport. Reputable rescues maintain detailed health records and post-adoption follow-up.

Frequently asked

Adopting BORIS, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about BORIS?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. No Limit Pets handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw BORIS on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt BORIS if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — No Limit Pets will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is BORIS already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if BORIS isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with No Limit Pets early rather than rehoming privately; they know BORIS and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (RO). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
