Borys is a male cat who learned life from the harder side. He arrived at our shelter with his siblings – the whole litter was sick with cat flu and needed treatment. Borys also went through it, but the fear still lingers in his eyes. The illness is behind him, though the treatment is still ongoing – now, the most important thing is to heal what can’t be seen: the fear. This is a kitten who defends himself before anyone can harm him. He can scratch, he can bite – not out of malice, but out of fear. In his world, humans are still a mystery that he can’t decipher. At the animal shelter, it’s hard to change that – there’s too much noise, too many smells, and too many unfamiliar hands. Borys needs a home that will give him a sacred peace and patience. A place where no one will expect immediate progress, but simply… will be. A person who understands that every fearless look, every day without hissing, is a step forward. In Borys, a good cat sleeps. He just hasn’t realized yet that he can afford it.

Borys to kocurek, który życie poznał od tej trudniejszej strony. Trafił do nas razem ze swoim rodzeństwem – cała szóstka była chora na koci katar i wymagała leczenia. Borys też przez to przeszedł, ale w jego oczach wciąż widać cień nieufności. Choroba już za nim, choć leczenie nadal trwa – teraz najważniejsze, by uleczyć to, czego nie widać: strach. To kotek, który broni się, zanim ktokolwiek zdąży zrobić mu krzywdę. Potrafi drapnąć, potrafi ugryźć – nie ze złośliwości, tylko z lęku. W jego świecie człowiek to wciąż zagadka, której nie potrafi rozszyfrować. W schronisku trudno to zmienić – tu za dużo hałasu, zapachów, obcych dłoni. Borys potrzebuje domu, który da mu święty spokój i cierpliwość. Miejsca, gdzie nikt nie będzie oczekiwał natychmiastowych postępów, tylko po prostu… będzie. Takiego człowieka, który zrozumie, że każde spojrzenie bez strachu, każdy dzień bez syczenia to krok naprzód. W Borysie drzemie dobry kot. On tylko jeszcze nie wie, że może sobie na to pozwolić.
