Bucky is currently in foster care and cannot be visited at the shelter without prior appointment. To meet Bucky, a phone appointment is necessary. Bucky is a nearly 3½-year-old, unneutered Beagle or Beagle mix and is full of energy and joie de vivre. The lively male wants to discover the world and shows himself to be people-oriented and friendly with us. In his previous life, Bucky has not had much training. Therefore, we are looking for people who enjoy training with him and teaching him the dog alphabet step by step. With his open-minded nature, he brings good prerequisites for this. Bucky is particularly enthusiastic about nose work. Typical of Beagles, he loves to use his nose and track scents. Therefore, joint activities and varied tasks should not be neglected in his new home. Cuddling is not currently high on Bucky's wish list. He has so far enjoyed closeness and petting rather cautiously. However, we can well imagine that this will change with some time, patience, and trust. We are looking for active and patient people who will give Bucky the necessary guidance in a loving and consistent manner and enjoy working with him and keeping him physically and mentally busy. Wenn Sie Bucky kennenlernen möchten, ist eine telefonische Terminvereinbarung notwendig. Bucky ist ein knapp 3½-jähriger, unkastrierter Beagle bzw. Beagle-Mischling und steckt voller Energie und Lebensfreude. Der aufgeweckte Rüde möchte die Welt entdecken und zeigt sich bei uns menschenbezogen und freundlich. In seinem bisherigen Leben hat Bucky noch nicht viel Erziehung kennenlernen dürfen. Daher suchen wir Menschen, die Freude daran haben, gemeinsam mit ihm zu trainieren und ihm Schritt für Schritt das Hunde-ABC beizubringen. Mit seiner aufgeschlossenen Art bringt er dafür gute Voraussetzungen mit. Besonders für Nasenarbeit lässt sich Bucky begeistern. Ganz typisch Beagle findet er es großartig, seine Nase einzusetzen und Spuren zu verfolgen. Gemeinsame Beschäftigung und abwechslungsreiche Aufgaben sollten in seinem neuen Zuhause daher nicht zu kurz kommen. Kuscheleinheiten stehen bei Bucky momentan nicht unbedingt ganz oben auf der Wunschliste. Nähe und Streicheleinheiten genießt er bisher eher zurückhaltend. Wir können uns aber gut vorstellen, das sich dies mit etwas Zeit, Geduld und Vertrauen noch ändern wird. Für Bucky suchen wir aktive und geduldige Menschen, die ihm liebevoll und konsequent die nötige Orientierung geben und Freude daran haben, gemeinsam mit ihm zu arbeiten und ihn körperlich sowie geistig auszulasten.
