Lovely Cher has already been a wonderful mum — she’s the mother of our recently rehomed Musical Pups! She’s still at the shelter with her son Snoop and his dad Sonny, but while the boys are still quite shy, Cher is ready to take her next step and find a patient family of her own. Cher can be nervous at first, but she responds beautifully to gentle encouragement and, of course, a few tasty snacks! Once she feels safe, she’s happy to sit quietly by your side and enjoy a soft fuss. She has such a kind nature — she just needs someone to show her that people can be trusted. When Cher was first taken off the streets, she had to be transported in a crate as she wasn’t used to wearing a lead. She will need a secure garden and a family willing to build up her confidence slowly before expecting her to go out on walks. Her new family will need to be calm, patient, and experienced with shy dogs, giving her time to settle at her own pace. Cher would be happiest in a quiet, adult-only home, where she can feel safe and relaxed. She hasn’t been tested with cats, but given her calm nature, she may be able to live alongside them with careful introductions. At around 15kg and with lovely long legs, she’s the perfect size for both cuddles and exploring when she’s ready.
