Calliope is a tame, calm young female cat. She is the mother of Kumo, Sahaba, and Yuki. She values human company, seeks out close contact on her own, and thoroughly enjoys being stroked on her belly or behind her ears. She has an extremely calm and relaxed character. She is also quite communicative, sharing her wants and likes with soft meows, half-hearted growls, and of course relaxed purring. She also greets her humans with various cat sounds. Visit / Adopt Calliope's Kitten Calliope was spotted with her kittens on an abandoned farm. The attentive neighbors noticed the small cat family and asked us for help. Calliope has since been spayed. Judging by the kittens' social behavior, they were probably born in the wild and had no previous direct contact with humans. Calliope has several small scars from previous injuries (a small cut on her right hind paw, punctual wounds on her back), which have since healed well. We are looking for new homes for the group with outdoor access to green spaces with a cat door. The siblings are preferred to be adopted together (two or three at a time). The four are also still listed in the STMZ

Calliope ist eine zahme, ruhige junge Kätzin. Sie ist die Mutter von Kumo, Sahaba und Yuki. Sie schätzt menschliche Gesellschaft, sucht auch gerne von sich aus Nähe und geniesst es in vollen Zügen, wenn sie am Bauch oder hinter den Ohren gestreichelt wird. Sie hat allgemein einen äusserst ruhigen und gelassenen Charakter. Sie ist zudem ziemlich kommunikativ unterwegs und teilt gerne mit leisem Miauen, halbherzigem Knurren, und natürlich entspanntem Schnurren mit, wenn sie etwas will oder ob ihr etwas gefällt. Gerne begrüsst sie ihre Menschen auch mit diversen Katzengeräuschen. Katze besuchen / adoptieren Geschichte der Gruppe Calliope's Kitten Calliope wurde zusammen mit ihren Kitten auf einem verlassenen Bauernhof gesichtet. Die aufmerksamen Nachbarn bemerkten die kleine Katzenfamilie und baten uns um Hilfe. Calliope wurde inzwischen durch uns kastriert. Dem Sozialverhalten der Kitten nach zu urteilen, wurden sie wahrscheinlich in der Wildnis geboren und hatten bisher noch keinen direkten Kontakt zu Menschen. Calliope hat mehrere kleine Narben von früheren Verletzungen (kleine Schnittwunde an der rechten hinteren Pfote, punktuelle Wunden am Rücken), welche jedoch inzwischen gut verheilt sind. Wir suchen für die Gruppe neue Zuhause mit Freigang im Grünen mit Katzentür. Die Geschwister werden bevorzugt zusammen (zu zweit oder dritt) vermittelt. Die vier sind derzeit auch noch in der STMZ ausgeschrieben Calliope Kumo Sahaba Yuki

Calliope is a puppy/kitten mixed breed cat cat waiting at Katzenhaus-Freunde in Zürich region.

Kittens are tiny chaos engines for about six months and then mellow rapidly. They need two scheduled feedings, a litter box per cat plus one extra, and somewhere high to climb. Spay/neuter happens around six months — most shelters arrange this before adoption.
