Carol, born around 2020, is a loving female cat who can be a bit shy at first. Once she has gained trust, however, she quickly warms up and reveals her charming personality. Especially endearing: Carol can be quite talkative and enjoys commenting on her daily life with little "conversations" to her people. For Carol, we are looking for a quiet home as a house cat, preferably with one or more calm, social fellow animals who can provide her with security and not overwhelm her. Carol does come with a special health history: a longstanding hip luxation (dislocation of the hip) in her left hind leg was diagnosed, leading to a so-called pseudoarthrosis. Due to the long-term misalignment, significant bony changes (osteophytes) had formed, causing her pain. Therefore, a femoral neck resection was already performed, during which the painful bone changes were removed. Currently, she is in the healing phase and receives supportive pain therapy as well as physiotherapeutic exercises. The prognosis is cautiously positive, and her further healing progress will be medically monitored. Despite this history, Carol does not let her zest for life be diminished. She wishes for people who give her time to settle in, understand her health situation, and offer her a safe, loving home. This cat is to be kept indoors only.

Carol, geboren ca. 2020, ist eine liebe Katzendame, die anfangs etwas schüchtern sein kann. Hat sie jedoch Vertrauen gefasst, taut sie schnell auf und zeigt ihren charmanten Charakter. Besonders liebenswert: Carol kann sehr gesprächig sein und kommentiert ihren Alltag gerne mit kleinen „Unterhaltungen“ mit ihren Menschen.Für Carol suchen wir ein ruhiges Zuhause als Wohnungskatze, gerne zu einem oder mehreren entspannten, sozialen Artgenossen, die ihr Sicherheit geben und sie nicht bedrängen.Carol bringt allerdings eine besondere gesundheitliche Vorgeschichte mit: Bei ihr wurde eine alte Hüftluxation (Ausrenkung der Hüfte) der linken Hintergliedmaße festgestellt, die zu einer sogenannten Pseudoarthrose geführt hat. Durch die langjährige Fehlstellung haben sich deutliche knöcherne Veränderungen (Osteophyten) gebildet, die ihr Schmerzen verursachten. Daher wurde bereits eine Femurhalsresektion durchgeführt, bei der die schmerzhaften Knochenveränderungen entfernt wurden. Aktuell befindet sie sich in der Heilungsphase und erhält unterstützende Schmerztherapie sowie physiotherapeutische Übungen. Die Prognose ist vorsichtig positiv, ihr weiterer Heilungsverlauf wird tierärztlich kontrolliert.Trotz dieser Vorgeschichte lässt sich Carol ihre Lebensfreude nicht nehmen. Sie wünscht sich Menschen, die ihr etwas Zeit zum Ankommen geben, Verständnis für ihre gesundheitliche Situation mitbringen und ihr ein sicheres, liebevolles Zuhause schenken.
