Chandler

Mixed Breed · Male · Kitten · 4 months

I am a mischievous kitten aged around 10 weeks and I am looking for a new home. 1am currently with my mother and siblings but will be ready for rehoming in the next couple of weeks. I am a beautiful light grey with dark grey spots on my back. Iam a shy boy and could live with another cat but I will need a quiet home. I like to play with a feather on a stick and love to climb on the cat trees and play with my siblings. I am litter tray trained and love myfood. I am a growing young cat and will need to have my needs met with lots of safe opportunities to exercise and play. I have been Vaccinated, Microchipped, Neutered and treated for Worms, Fleas and Ticks. Adoption fee £120

About Chandler

What life with Chandler looks like

Chandler is a puppy/kitten mixed breed cat waiting at Pennine Animal Welfare Society in United Kingdom.

Kittens are tiny chaos engines for about six months and then mellow rapidly. They need two scheduled feedings, a litter box per cat plus one extra, and somewhere high to climb. Spay/neuter happens around six months — most shelters arrange this before adoption.

🇬🇧Adopting from United Kingdom

UK shelters work under the Pet Travel Scheme (post-Brexit, the EU pet passport is not valid; a UK Animal Health Certificate is required for travel into the EU). Most UK rescues focus on domestic placements but some work with EU partners.

Frequently asked

Adopting Chandler, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Chandler?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Pennine Animal Welfare Society handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Chandler on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Chandler if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Pennine Animal Welfare Society will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. UK adopters: post-Brexit travel into the EU requires an Animal Health Certificate. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Chandler already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Chandler isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Pennine Animal Welfare Society early rather than rehoming privately; they know Chandler and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
