Chapo is one of our anxious dogs. He still struggles to connect with humans. We practice putting on his harness and going for walks daily, which has been improving. Chapo gets along well with other dogs. Initially, he lived in a mixed dog group. Currently, he lives with another dog so we can better train him. For Chapo, we are looking for a home that already has experience with anxious dogs. Ideally, there would be an established dog to help guide him. We cannot currently assess if Chapo can live with children. We advise anyone considering bringing a dog into their home to seek professional training beforehand. Many dogs develop differently in new environments and it is essential to have competent guidance from the start. Would you like to meet Chapo? September 2025 Geschlecht: männlich Rasse: Mix Größe (Schulterhöhe): wird nachgetragen Gewicht: 13,5kg Chapo ist einer unserer ängstlichen Hunde. Mit uns Menschen kann er noch nicht viel anfangen. Wir üben täglich mit ihm das Anziehen des Geschirrs und das Gassigehen – das klappt mittlerweile schon ganz gut. Chapo ist gut mit anderen Hunden verträglich. Anfangs lebte er in einer gemischten Hundegruppe. Momentan wohnt er mit einem anderen Hund zusammen, damit wir besser mit ihm üben können. Für Chapo suchen wir ein Zuhause, das bereits Erfahrung mit Angsthunden hat. Idealerweise lebt dort bereits ein souveräner Hund, an dem sich Chapo orientieren kann. Ob Chapo mit Kindern zusammenleben kann, können wir derzeit noch nicht einschätzen. Wir raten jedem Menschen und jeder Familie, die einen Hund bei sich einziehen lassen möchten, sich vorab um eine professionelle Hundeschule zu bemühen. Wir können nur so beschreiben wie wir sie hier im Tierheim- Umfeld kennenlernen. Im neuen Zuhause entwickeln sich viele Hunde neu und hier ist es unbedingt angeraten, sofort eine kompetente Beratung an seiner Seite zu haben.
