Adopt Chase

Mixed Breed · Male

Chase – dog, who loves with all his heart ❤️ Status: available for adoption There are dogs that love people. And there is Chase – a dog who loves his people with all his heart. If you find yourself in his heart, you will get everything: affection, loyalty, joy from every shared moment and lots of doggy kisses. Chase is an extremely social and devoted dog. He loves human closeness – lying together on the couch, playing, antics, and just being together are his greatest happiness. At home he can rest beautifully, but when it's time for activity, there's no end to his joy and energy. He is smart, willing to cooperate, and quickly learns new things. He carefully observes his caregiver and draws a sense of security from him. With strangers, Chase may be initially uncertain. At the beginning of a walk, he may bark at people just in case, but after a while he calms down and calmly passes by people, runners, or scooters. Guests in the house also initially cause him caution, but he quickly opens up – and then he himself asks for pats. Interestingly, on the yard he can approach even strange men, whom he sometimes fears during walks, and happily presents himself for petting. Chase nicely maintains cleanliness at home and always signals his needs. He gets along perfectly with other dogs – the resident is loved with all his heart, constantly encouraging him to play, and their games can last a very long time. On walks, he communicates well with other dogs, and on the yard he loves intense, joyful madness. His attitude towards cats is unknown. Small, very loud, and energetic children somewhat frighten him, but he has created a beautiful and affectionate relationship with a teenager he lives with. So far, Chase has been in the house with another dog and is calm in such situations – he doesn't destroy, doesn't vocalize, and mainly sleeps. He has not yet been left alone without other animals. On walks, if he is afraid of something, he may pull, especially on the way back home, but with calm and consistent support, he very nicely calms down and handles stress better and better. Car trips are perfectly tolerated – he lies down and calmly sleeps. At the veterinarian, he behaves very bravely, only slightly uncertain upon entering the office, probably due to smells. He has never shown aggression. It has happened that he barked out of fear, but with each subsequent difficult situation he handles it better and returns to balance faster. In the house, Chase barks at the doorbell and sometimes "mimics" the barking of the other dog. When he was alone, both at home and outside, he remained calm and quiet, so we assume that with a calm canine companion he would have no problem with excessive barking. Chase is a dog with a huge heart and great sensitivity. Sometimes his fears limit him, but with the right person who gives him support, consistency, and a sense of security, he thrives and shows how wonderful a companion he can be. We are looking for a home that will love him as strongly as he is able to love a person. 🐾 —- DOG PROFILE —- 🧮 Year of birth: 07/2022 🚻 Gender: male 🐾 Size: medium 12kg 🏀 Activity: medium ❤️ neutered: yes ℹ️ Chip: yes 💉 Vaccinations: yes ✅ dog is under the care of the Tricity branch of the Foundation for Puppies Judyta ✅ dog is currently in a temporary home in the Tricity area and surroundings ✅ Adoption requirement: completing the questionnaire, pre-adoption visit, and signing the adoption agreement ✅ LINK TO QUESTIONNAIRE:

Chase to niezwykle kontaktowy i oddany pies. Chase pięknie zachowuje czystość w domu i zawsze sygnalizuje swoje potrzeby. Małe, bardzo głośne i energiczne dzieci trochę go przerażają, natomiast z nastolatką, z którą mieszka, stworzył piękną i pełną czułości relację. Chase to pies o ogromnym sercu i wielkiej wrażliwości.

About Chase

What life with Chase looks like

Chase is a adult mixed breed dog waiting at Fundacja Judyta dla Psiego Losu in Poland.

An adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇵🇱Adopting from Poland

Polish shelters maintain established transport routes to Germany, Netherlands, Austria, and Sweden. Animals leave sterilized and chipped. Adoption fees are typically lower than in Western Europe (often €50–€150) but adopters cover transport.

Frequently asked

Adopting Chase, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Chase?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Fundacja Judyta dla Psiego Losu handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Chase on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Chase if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Fundacja Judyta dla Psiego Losu will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Chase already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Chase isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Fundacja Judyta dla Psiego Losu early rather than rehoming privately; they know Chase and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (PL). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
