CHOUQUETTE
Border Collie · Female · Young · 1 year
Chouquette came from a seizure following an investigation into animal abuse. Having never experienced family life, she’ll have much to learn—especially potty training and walking on a leash or lead. Unfortunately, our sweet girl is deaf and visually impaired (likely blind). Her future family will therefore need to be prepared to manage this dual disability, ideally with the support of a dog trainer. Chouquette is a bit shy at first but becomes very affectionate once she gets to know people. She’s energetic and will need daily walks to maintain her balance. She gets along well with other dogs. The ideal home for her would be a house in the countryside with a garden, free of young children. Adopting her together with her sister Briochette would be an added bonus.
