Coco

Mixed Breed · Female · Kitten · 6 months

Animal Protector: Virginia Georgieva Born: approx. April 2026 Sex: female Location: Bulgaria Neutered: no FIV test: negative FeLV test: negative Handicaps: none Compatible with: Children: unknown Cats: yes Dogs: unknown Requirements: NO single-cat households; indoor only, NO outdoor access; balcony or terrace desirable (if available, securing it is required) At the "Nobody's Pets" animal shelter, where Virginia is staying, there is currently an abundance of kittens. New little furballs arrive almost every day: some were found outside, others were simply left in boxes at the door. Each of these little ones has its own story, but from now on everyone is looking only forward! They are lovingly cared for, safe, and eager to soon begin their great adventure with their own people. One of these sweet creatures is little Coco. These little velvet paws are real heartbreakers and exactly how one imagines young cats: lively, full of energy, and incredibly curious about everything. They love nothing more than spending their days playing together, romping around, and exploring, and when they're tired, they cuddle up close to each other. They also simply love us humans, are very sweet, and are overjoyed by every bit of petting and shared cuddle time. Since no kitten should grow up alone, we only place our little rascals in pairs or with a suitable buddy of the same age. Growing up together, romping, and snuggling is simply twice as much fun! If you've fallen in love with Coco, feel free to contact us. Virginia will then check which of the other minis would currently be a suitable companion, and we will introduce you to possible feline buddies. One thing is certain: with two such little whirlwinds, a great deal of life, love, and plenty of cuddle time will move into your home. We look forward to your message!

About Coco

What life with Coco looks like

Coco is an extra-large kitten mixed breed cat waiting at Glücksnasen e.V. Tierschutzverein in Germany.

Kittens are tiny chaos engines for about six months and then mellow rapidly. They need two scheduled feedings, a litter box per cat plus one extra, and somewhere high to climb. Spay/neuter happens around six months — most shelters arrange this before adoption.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Dogs and cats typically leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with an EU pet passport.

Frequently asked

Adopting Coco, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Coco?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Glücksnasen e.V. Tierschutzverein handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Coco on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Coco if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Glücksnasen e.V. Tierschutzverein will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Transport is usually a separate cost, so ask for the exact figure before you commit.
Is Coco already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Coco isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Glücksnasen e.V. Tierschutzverein early rather than rehoming privately; they know Coco and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
