Cocos was found in the spring of 2022 near an abandoned house. He was in a large nest of beautiful, white puppies. The mother dog was very shy, but the puppies were happily approachable. Therefore, they were taken to a rescue address so they could grow up to be social dogs and increase their chances of a good future. However, it turned out difficult to catch and spay the mother dog. For a long time, the rescuers couldn't catch her. Eventually, this was only possible in the fall of 2023, after she unfortunately had another litter. She is now spayed, and there will be no more unwanted puppies. Update April 2026: Volunteers visit Romania. Cocos is a large, friendly dog with a special presence. His white coat combined with his pink nose and light-colored eyes makes him a real eye-catcher. He is staying at Timea's shelter. In addition, Cocos is a dog with a calm and stable character. He takes his time to observe his surroundings and is more of a cat-out-of-the-tree observer than a dog that immediately steps forward. Therefore, he radiates calmness and feels pleasant in contact. Furthermore, he is social and friendly towards people. He enjoys attention but doesn't impose himself. A pat is calmly received and he remains relaxed with all four paws on the ground. During walks, Cocos also shows a nice side of himself. He walks nicely on the leash and moves calmly. Because of this, he is a pleasant dog to go out with. Although he has a good basis, Cocos, like every dog, will need time to get used to a new environment. With patience and guidance, he can further develop into a nice and reliable family dog. Finally, Cocos is a special presence with a gentle character. He is looking for a quiet and loving home where he can be himself and receive the attention he deserves. Cocos werd in het voorjaar van 2022 bij een verlaten huis gevonden. Hij zat in een groot nest prachtige, witte pups. De moederhond was erg angstig, maar de pups waren gelukkig goed benaderbaar. Daarom zijn zij naar een opvangadres gebracht, zodat zij de kans kregen om op te groeien tot sociale honden en daarmee hun kansen op een fijne toekomst te vergroten. Het bleek echter lastig om de moederhond te vangen en te laten steriliseren. Lange tijd lukte het de rescuers niet om haar te pakken te krijgen. Uiteindelijk is dit pas in het najaar van 2023 gelukt, nadat zij helaas nog een nest had gekregen. Inmiddels is zij gesteriliseerd en zullen er geen ongewenste pups meer geboren worden. Update april 2026: Bezoek vrijwilligers aan Roemenië Cocos is een grote, vriendelijke reu met een bijzondere uitstraling. Zijn witte vacht in combinatie met zijn rozige neus en lichte ogen maken hem een echte blikvanger. Hij verblijft in de shelter van Timea. Daarnaast is Cocos een hond met een rustig en stabiel karakter. Hij neemt de tijd om zijn omgeving te observeren en is eerder een kat-uit-de-boom-kijker dan een hond die zich direct op de voorgrond plaatst. Daardoor straalt hij kalmte uit en voelt hij prettig aan in de omgang. Verder is hij sociaal en vriendelijk naar mensen. Hij geniet van aandacht, maar dringt zich niet op. Een aaitje wordt rustig ontvangen en hij blijft daarbij ontspannen met alle vier de pootjes op de grond. Ook tijdens wandelingen laat Cocos een fijne kant van zichzelf zien. Hij loopt netjes mee aan de lijn en beweegt zich rustig voort. Hierdoor is hij een prettige hond om samen op pad te gaan. Hoewel hij een fijne basis heeft, zal ook Cocos, net als iedere hond, tijd nodig hebben om te wennen aan een nieuwe omgeving. Met geduld en begeleiding kan hij zich verder ontwikkelen tot een fijne en betrouwbare huishond. Tenslotte is Cocos een bijzondere verschijning met een zacht karakter. Hij zoekt een rustig en liefdevol thuis waar hij zichzelf mag zijn en waar hij de aandacht krijgt die hij verdient. Cocos is klaar om de spannende reis naar Nederland te maken.
