Cody is een Podenco mix, een gecastreerde reu geboren in 2018. Enkele jaren geleden verhuisde hij samen met zijn verzorgster van Spanje naar België.Die verhuis zette zijn leventje op zijn kop: de vrijheid en ruimte die hij in Spanje kende, moest hij inruilen voor het drukke stadsleven. Gelukkig kon hij nog genieten van rustige boswandelingen, waar hij zijn verzorgster te paard vergezelde.In het huidige gezin is de situatie veranderd en dat zorgt ervoor dat Cody niet meer kan krijgen wat hij nodig heeft.Cody is graag buiten, maar dan wel in een rustige omgeving waar hij uitgebreid kan snuffelen. Hij houdt wel van een knuffel af en toe, maar geeft graag zelf aan wanneer hij hier behoefte aan heeft.Katten zijn mogelijke medebewoners, maar andere kleine dieren kunnen zijn jachtinstinct activeren. Cody is gewend om in de buurt van paarden te zijn. Cody wil graag de enige hond in het gezin zijn. Andere honden negeert hij het liefst, zowel in huis als tijdens wandelingen.Een huis met een grote tuin heeft zijn voorkeur, maar daarnaast ontdekt hij graag nog rustige wandelplekjes.Cody is een zelfstandige hond die duidelijke hondentaal gebruikt.
