Animal shelter Tenerife (Sabine): Update April 13, 2026: Also the little Cosima is growing like a mushroom and likes to show you how big a girl she already is. 19 new photos and a new video added. Input March 30, 2026: Cosima is a beautiful and brave Podenco girl. She is playful and curious. Her hobby? To follow us while we try to clean, until we give up and take her into our arms. Then she falls asleep quickly with a deep sigh. Lovely! Cosima was born here when her mother Kaneeltje was found heavily pregnant. So she is growing safely with her mom and brothers and sisters, is well brought up among the dogs but also enjoys the love and attention from people. A perfect start to be able to explore the world further later together with her own person, and maybe even another dog companion at home! Until then, Kaneeltje and we will continue to enjoy her while guiding her towards more adventures. As soon as this treasure has had all her vaccinations, she can join the daily walks and also run freely in our safe enclosed off-leash area with other companions. That will certainly be a success! For now, she is already enjoying their patio where they have both indoor and outdoor space and also a sandy area where she likes to sniff around. She also does her business neatly outside in a corner, so she will probably quickly learn when she is home. Cosima is expected to travel to her golden bed and her own family around mid-May to continue growing and enjoying, but we wanted to introduce her anyway. More photos and videos soon because these little ones grow every day! Cosima's mother, Kaneeltje, is about 48cm tall. We estimate that her puppies will also remain around that height when adult, 50-55cm.

Asiel Tenerife (Sabine): Update 13 april 2026: Ook de kleine Cosima groeit als kool en laat je graag zien hoe een groot meisje ze al is. 19 nieuwe foto's en een nieuwe video toegevoegd. Input 30 maart 2026: Cosima is een mooi en dapper podenco meisje. Ze is speels en nieuwsgierig. Haar hobby? Ons achtervolgen terwijl we proberen schoon te maken, tot we opgeven om haar in onze armen te nemen. Dan valt ze al snel, met een diepe zucht, in slaap. Heerlijk! Cosima werd bij ons geboren toen haar moeder Kaneeltje hoogzwanger werd gevonden. Ze groeit dus veilig bij haar mama en broertjes en zusjes op, wordt goed opgevoed onder de honden maar geniet ook van de liefde en aandacht van de mensen. Een perfect begin om straks de wereld verder te kunnen gaan ontdekken samen met een eigen mens, en wie weet zelfs een ander hondenmaatje in huis! Tot dan gaan Kaneeltje en wij hier nog even verder met van haar genieten terwijl we haar begeleiden naar steeds meer avonturen. Zodra deze schat al haar inentingen heeft gehad mag ze straks mee met de dagelijkse wandelingen en ook los in onze veilige omheinde losloopweide met andere maatjes. Dat wordt zeker een succes!Voor nu geniet ze al van hun patio waar ze zowel binnen als buitenruimte hebben en ook een stuk met zand waar ze graag rond snuffelt. Ze doet haar poepjes en plasjes ook al netjes buiten in een hoekje dus zal dit waarschijnlijk ook al snel leren wanneer ze thuis is.Cosima zou rond midden mei mogen reizen naar haar gouden mandje en eigen gezin om verder te groeien en genieten maar we wilden haar toch al voorstellen. Binnenkort meer foto’s en filmpjes want deze kleintjes groeien met de dag!Cosima haar moeder, Kaneeltje, is rond de 48cm klein. We schatten dat haar kleintjes ook volwassen rond die hoogte zullen blijven, 50-55cm.
