Since almost five years, I have been at the Tierschutzbund Basel Regional – and for a very special reason: My heart is simply too big. I loved and protected my previous human so much that sometimes I felt overwhelmed by all the emotions. Here at the animal shelter, it really suits me. My foster mom takes loving care of me, and I am regularly worked with – which helps me sort my big heart better. And you know what? I even have a dog dad who comes to visit me regularly. That is the highlight of my day! The Tierschutzbund Basel Regional does everything to ensure that I am not lacking anything. But honestly: Good accommodation, professional care, and daily love do cost money. That’s why I am looking for loving sponsors who want to support my care. As a thank you, I promise you, dear future sponsors, that I will regularly inform you about my progress, my well-being, and my little adventures. And maybe, just maybe, someone will find a loving forever home for me. Until then, I am simply Cosmo – a dog with a big heart and a lot of hope.

Seit fast fünf Jahren bin ich nun beim Tierschutzbund Basel Regional – und das aus einem ganz besonderen Grund: Mein Herz ist einfach zu gross. Ich habe meinen früheren Menschen so sehr geliebt und beschützt, dass ich manchmal überfordert war, mit all den Gefühlen umzugehen. Hier im Tierheim geht es mir wirklich gut. Meine Pflegemama kümmert sich liebevoll um mich, und mit mir wird regelmässig gearbeitet – das hilft mir, mein grosses Herz besser zu sortieren. Und wisst ihr was? Ich habe sogar einen Hundemann, der mich immer wieder besuchen kommt. Das ist für mich das Highlight jedes Tages! Der Tierschutzbund Basel Regional tut alles, damit es mir an nichts fehlt. Aber ganz ehrlich: Eine gute Unterbringung, professionelle Betreuung und tägliche Liebe kosten eben auch Geld. Deshalb suche ich liebe Paten, die meine Pflege unterstützen möchten. Als Dank verspreche ich euch, liebe zukünftige Paten, dass ich euch regelmässig über meine Fortschritte, mein Wohlbefinden und meine kleinen Abenteuer informiere. Und vielleicht, ganz vielleicht, findet sich irgendwann jemand, der mir ein liebevolles Für-Immer-Zuhause schenken will.
