Origin Country: Hungary Cuki, the wondrously beautiful female dog, was found wandering alone in the village of Hetény on October 28, 2025, and brought to the animal shelter. Initially, the finders wanted to keep her, but after a few days, they changed their minds and drove her to Menhely. Where Cuki came from and why she was traveling alone remain a mystery, as she was neither microchipped nor reported missing. For us, as always, it’s incomprehensible… Our fingers are crossed that Cuki will soon find a new, loving home where she will never be left behind. Cuki shows herself to be a cheerful, loving, lively, and open female dog, even if new situations can sometimes intimidate her. She seems to have not made many bad experiences with humans, as she approaches us two-legged beings openly. She enjoys extensive cuddles, and when you engage with her, she is happy. She is a smart female dog and with loving guidance will quickly understand the dog ABC, as she is still unfamiliar with everything. She wants to be mentally and physically engaged, then she will develop into a wonderful companion. She is already happily participating in the mentor program and has already captured the hearts of all mentors with her wonderful nature. Cuki gets along well with her fellow animals and lives in a mixed pack. For our beloved Cuki, we are looking for loving and dog-loving people who will challenge and support her both mentally and physically, exploring the big, wide world with her and showing her how wonderful life as a beloved family dog can be. Of course, plenty of cuddle hours, play, and fun are not to be missed. Cuki will be a wonderful companion bringing lots of love and joy to her new home. On December 17, 2025, a voluntary, Hungarian helper writes: "Cuki came into the care of the animal shelter at the end of October 2025. On a mentor day, we met her at the shelter playground. Cuki is a very loving, heart-warming, friendly, and people-oriented female dog. She loves people, stays close to them, and patiently asks for cuddles and pampering. When the playground gate was open, she didn’t want to go out but preferred to stay with us. The most important thing for her is that she gets attention and is engaged with. She is playful and likes to chase the ball. She attentively followed the mentors, she is interested, young, and a captivating dog. Cuki lives with several other dogs in a pen and has integrated well into the group. Together with the other dogs, she stood by the mentors to be stroked. Cuki is leashable. Cuki still needs a hip X-ray, an update will follow. Examination on December 12, 2025: She has mild hip dysplasia on the left and moderate hip dysplasia on the right. At the moment, nothing needs to be done, weight control and joint supplements are recommended.

Ursprungsland: Ungarn Die wunderschöne Cuki wurde am 28.10.2025 alleine umherwandernd in der Ortschaft Hetény gefunden und ins Tierheim gebracht, das heisst, die Finder wollten sie zuerst behalten, haben es sich dann doch noch anders überlegt und Cuki nach einigen Tagen ins Menhely gefahren. Woher Cuki kommt und warum sie alleine unterwegs war, wird ihr Geheimnis bleiben, denn sie war weder gechipt, noch hat sie jemand als vermisst gemeldet. Für uns wie immer unverständlich….. Unsere Daumen sind fest gedrückt, dass Cuki bald ein neues, liebevolles Zuhause findet, wo sie nie mehr im Stich gelassen wird. Cuki zeigt sich als eine fröhliche, liebe, muntere und aufgeschlossene Hündin, auch wenn sie neue Situationen mal etwas einschüchtern können. Sie scheint bisher keine sehr schlechten Erfahrungen mit uns Menschen gemacht zu haben, denn sie geht offen auf uns Zweibeiner zu. Sie geniesst ausgiebige Streicheleinheiten und wenn man sich mit ihr beschäftigt, ist sie happy. Sie ist eine smarte Hündin und unter liebevoller Anleitung wird sie das Hunde-ABC schnell verstanden haben, denn davon kennt sie noch nicht alles. Sie möchte geistig wie körperlich beschäftigt werden, dann wird sie sich weiter zu einer tollen Gefährtin entwickeln. Sie macht bereits mit grosser Freude im Mentorprogramm mit und hat mit ihrer tollen Art schon alle Mentorenherzen im Sturm erobert. Mit ihren Artgenossen versteht sich Cuki gut und lebt in einem gemischten Rudel. Für unsere allerliebste Cuki suchen wir liebe und hundebegeisterte Menschen, welche Cuki geistig wie körperlich fordern und fördern, mit ihr gemeinsam die grosse, weite Welt erkunden und ihr zeigen, wie schön das Leben als geliebter Familienhund sein kann. Ganz viele Kuschelstunden, Spiel und Spass dürfen natürlich auch nicht fehlen. Cuki wird ihren Menschen eine tolle Gefährtin sein, welche viel Liebe und Freude mit in ihr neues Daheim bringt. Am 17.12.2025 schreibt eine freiwillige, ungarische Helferin: "Cuki kam Ende Oktober 2025 in die Obhut des Tierheims. An einem Mentoren Tag trafen wir sie auf dem Spielplatz des Tierheims.Cuki ist eine sehr liebe, herzige, freundliche und menschenbezogene Hündin. Sie liebt Menschen, hält sich gern in ihrer Nähe auf und bittet geduldig um Streicheleinheiten und Verwöhnung. Als das Tor des Spielplatzes offen war, wollte sie nicht hinausgehen, sondern lieber bei uns bleiben. Das Wichtigste für sie ist, dass man sich mit ihr beschäftigt und ihr Aufmerksamkeit schenkt.Sie ist verspielt und rennt gern dem Ball nach. Aufmerksam folgte sie den Mentoren, sie ist interessiert, jung und ein bezaubernder Hund.Cuki lebt mit mehreren Hunden zusammen in einem Zwinger und hat sich gut in die Gruppe eingefügt. Gemeinsam mit den anderen Hunden stand sie bei den Mentoren an, um gestreichelt zu werden. Cuki ist an der Leine führbar. Bei Cuki steh noch ein Röntgen der Hüfte an, ein Update folgt. Befund 12.12.2025: Sie hat leichte Hüftdysplasie links und mässige Hüftdysplasie rechts. Zur Zeit nichts zu machen, Gewichtskontrolle und Gelenksschoner zufüttern. Cuki ist reisefertig.
