Davinci und Kamikaze

Domestic Rabbit · Male · Young · 2 years

Names: Davinci und Kamikaze Age: 10.08.2024 Gender: both neutered-male The brothers Davinci und Kamikaze were surrendered to the animal shelter together with their parents (who are also their siblings). The two young rabbits react very hyperactive when people approach their enclosure. It can also happen that they chase each other and pluck each other's fur. But as soon as this stimulus (the person) moves away from the enclosure, harmony and peace are restored between the brothers. They eat and cuddle together. For this reason, very special people are needed who do not further "ignore" this behavior but calmly deal with such a situation. It is likely that this behavior will improve significantly in its own home, as the external stimuli, such as the scents of other fellow animals with the associated permanent stress, will disappear.

About Davinci und Kamikaze

What life with Davinci und Kamikaze looks like

Davinci und Kamikaze is a small young adult domestic rabbit rabbit waiting at Tierheim Wiesbaden in Wiesbaden.

Rabbits are social animals — most shelters recommend adopting them in bonded pairs rather than alone. They need fresh hay daily, several hours of out-of-cage time, and rabbit-safe spaces to explore. They live eight to twelve years, longer than many people expect.

Note from the shelter: Bonded pair that must be adopted together. Shows stress behaviors around humans but calms when left alone. Needs patient, understanding owners.

Frequently asked

Adopting Davinci und Kamikaze, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Davinci und Kamikaze?: Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Tierheim Wiesbaden handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Davinci und Kamikaze on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Davinci und Kamikaze if I live in another country?: Sometimes. Whether a rabbit can move between countries depends on the species and the rules in both countries, and some species need permits or have restrictions. Ask Tierheim Wiesbaden what paperwork and transport they require, and check the import rules of your country before you commit.
Is Davinci und Kamikaze already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?: What a rabbit comes with (vet checks, vaccinations, identification, paperwork) varies by shelter and species. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask Tierheim Wiesbaden directly what is included and what Davinci und Kamikaze still needs.
What happens if Davinci und Kamikaze isn't the right fit?: Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Tierheim Wiesbaden early rather than rehoming privately; they know Davinci und Kamikaze and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?: TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
