Demi is als zwerver bij Hokazo terechtgekomen. Haar geboortedatum schatten we op 27 mei 2024. Ze is nog een echt angsthaasje en heeft tijd nodig om te ontdekken dat mensen ook veilig kunnen zijn. Van haar toekomstige baasje vraagt dat vooral geduld. Demi hoeft niet meteen op schoot of gezellig naast je op de bank te zitten. Eerst mag ze rustig wennen. Vanuit daar kan ze op haar eigen tempo vertrouwen opbouwen. Voor Demi zoeken we een rustig huis zonder kinderen. Een plek waar niet steeds iets van haar wordt verwacht, maar waar ze de ruimte krijgt om zelf haar grenzen aan te geven. Haar nieuwe baasje moet het fijn vinden om kleine stapjes te zien: een kat die zich iets minder vaak verstopt, wat langer blijft zitten als iemand in de buurt komt of misschien op termijn zelf contact durft te zoeken. Hoe Demi reageert op andere katten of honden weten we nog niet. Daarom zoeken we vooral iemand die begrijpt dat haar plaatsing een kwestie van tijd, rust en vertrouwen is.
