As a result, he found a wonderful new home, but one family member reacted so strongly to asthma that even a multi-day hospital stay was necessary. And yet, Diego has not lost his joy in life. For that to continue, he needs people who are sure about adoption and want to give him a definite home. He loves and needs human proximity, enjoys the company of children, gets along very well with fellow animals, and even knows cats. Diego needs caring and patient people and a home with a yard for free run (e.g., garden). He needs variety, support with the Dog ABC, and ideally, a visit to dog training classes. Diego is a leishmaniasis carrier. He has been thoroughly examined by veterinarians and is being treated medicinally. Whether the medication will be lifelong is still open. He must be seen by a vet at least every six months for control of his values (leishmaniasis titer and kidney values). Diego is vaccinated, microchipped, and rehomed. Diego ist ein unglaublich freundlicher und aufgestellter Weggefährte. Er hatte in seinem Leben bisher nicht viel Glück, durfte nur sehr wenig Liebe erfahren und lebte in keinem guten Umfeld. Daraufhin hatte er ein tolles neues Zuhause gefunden, allerdings reagierte ein Familienmitglied so stark mit Asthma, dass sogar ein mehrtägiger Krankenhausaufenthalt notwendig war. Und trotzdem hat Diego seine Freude am Leben nicht verloren. Damit das so bleibt braucht er unbedingt Menschen, die sich bei der Adoption sicher sind und ihm ein definitives Zuhause schenken möchten. Er liebt und braucht menschliche Nähe, mag gerne Kinder, verträgt sich sehr gut mit Artgenossen und kennt auch Katzen. Diego braucht fürsorgliche und geduldige Menschen und ein Zuhause mit Freilauf (z.B. Garten). Er braucht Abwechslung, Unterstützung beim Hunde ABC und ideal wäre auch der Besuch einer Hundeschule. Diego ist Leishmaniose Träger. Er wurde dahingehend gründlich von Tierärzten untersucht und wird medikamentös behandelt. Ob die Medikation lebenslang notwendig ist steht noch offen. Er muss mindestens alle sechs Monate zum Tierarzt zur Kontrolle seiner Werte (Leishmaniose Titter und Nierenwerte). Diego wird geimpft, gechippt, mit Schutzvertrag und gegen eine Schutzgebühr von CHF 550.– vermittelt.
