DIEGO is looking for a home, as it didn't fit in its last family. DIEGO has a calm temperament and is a sociable and friendly companion with people it trusts. To its trusted people, it shows a lot of loyalty. It is clingy and enjoys the affection from people with whom it has a close relationship. DIEGO has independence and makes its own decisions, but only if a strong, confident person is by its side who rehomes it, so that it doesn't feel responsible. Especially in situations with guests in the house or at public places where one stays longer, it is important to signal to it that it has no job. Its protective instinct must be taken into account. DIEGO is alert and quickly notices changes in its environment, which it also communicates. It gets along well with other dogs in the pack. It takes on a balancing role, knows how to assert itself, but also withdraws to avoid escalation. For DIEGO we are looking for a home in a rural environment. Ideally, its home has fixed trusted people (not a flat share etc.), no children, and a relaxed daily routine without much going on. It likes consistent routines and little excitement. Diego sucht ein Zuhause, da es in seiner letzten Familie nicht gepasst hat. Diego hat ein ruhiges Temperament und ist ein geselliger und freundlicher Gefährte bei vertrauten Personen. Seinen Bezugspersonen schenkt er viel Loyalität. Er ist anhänglich und mag die Zuwendung von den Menschen, mit denen er eine enge Beziehung hat. Diego besitzt Eigenständigkeit und trifft eigene Entscheidungen, wenn nicht ein führungsstarker, souveräner Mensch an seiner Seite ist, der ihm vermittelt, dass er nicht in der Verantwortung ist. Besonders in Situationen mit Gästen im Haus oder an öffentlichen Orten, wo man länger verweilt, ist es wichtig, ihm zu signalisieren, dass er keinen Job hat. Seinem Schutzinstinkt muss Beachtung geschenkt werden. Diego ist wachsam und nimmt Veränderungen in seiner Umgebung schnurstracks wahr, die er auch mitteilt. Er ist gut verträglich mit den Hunden im Rudel. Er nimmt eine ausgleichende Rolle ein, weiß sich durchzusetzen, zieht sich aber auch zurück, um Eskalationen zu vermeiden.
