RUGO is a mixed-breed male dog born on August 23, 2020. Originally from Romania, he has a very special personality. He came to Switzerland as a young dog and lived until he was placed with a family on a farm. He is currently integrated into the pack. He gets along well with other dogs but sometimes gets into conflicts because he likes to decide where to go. He pays attention to what is happening on the farm and immediately comments on unusual situations. RUGO shows territorial behavior in the kennel and makes visitors clearly understand that "his territory" is not to be entered. When taken out of the kennel, he shows his friendly side, is approachable, and enjoys the affection he receives. RUGO is a dog for whom status is important. It is important that the person who takes him in initially limits his framework and decision-making freedom so that he understands that the human is the decision-maker and manages resources. RUGO will only be rehomed to experienced hands in a home without other dogs. Since he is used to life on the farm, we are looking for a rural home with a comfortable daily routine. Repeating routines and a calm life suit him best. RUGO is neutered, vaccinated, and dewormed.

Rugo ist ein Mischlingsrüde und am 23. August 2020 geboren. Ursprünglich aus Rumänien, bringt er eine ganz besondere Persönlichkeit mit. Er kam als Junghund in die Schweiz und lebte bis zu seiner Abgabe bei einer Familie auf einem Bauernhof. Aktuell ist er im Rudel integriert. Er kommt gut mit den anderen Hunden klar, gerät aber manchmal in Konflikte, weil er gerne sagt, wo es langgeht. Er nimmt das Geschehen auf dem Hof aufmerksam wahr und kommentiert Ungewöhnliches unmittelbar. Rugo zeigt im Zwinger territoriales Verhalten und macht Besuchern unmissverständlich klar, dass „sein Reich“ nicht betreten wird. Führt man ihn aus dem Zwinger hinaus, zeigt er sich von seiner freundlichen Seite, ist zugänglich und mag die Zuwendung, die er bekommt. Rugo ist ein Hund, dem sein Status wichtig ist. Es ist wichtig, dass der Mensch, der ihn aufnimmt, den Rahmen und die Entscheidungsfreiheit von Rugo erstmal einschränkt, damit er versteht, dass der Mensch der Entscheidungsträger ist und Ressourcen verwaltet. Rugo wird nur in erfahrene Hände, in ein Zuhause ohne weitere Hunde vermittelt. Da er an das Leben auf dem Hof gewöhnt ist, suchen wir für ihn ein ländliches Zuhause mit einem gemütlichen Alltag. Wiederkehrende Abläufe und ein unaufgeregtes Leben kommen ihm am besten entgegen. Rugo ist kastriert, geimpft und entwurmt.
