He enjoys his human's attention and can engage in displacement behaviors when understimulated. He is also very clever: he easily opens kitchen cabinets and takes advantage of every opportunity to get food or other interesting things. He consistently defends his food bowl as well as other resources such as toys or treats. Therefore, we are looking for an experienced dog home with clear structures and people who are willing to responsibly manage this behavior and work on it with professional support. We would be happy to arrange contact with an experienced dog trainer upon request. Igor can also stay alone at home in a secure area for some time. For Igor, we are looking for a home without children. Sein Start ins Leben war alles andere als einfach: Er stammt aus einem überfüllten Welpenkennel. Anschließend durfte er in ein Zuhause in der Schweiz ziehen. Leider haben sich die Lebensumstände verändert, sodass Igor nun im Tierheim auf der Suche nach einem neuen, passenden Zuhause ist. Igor ist ein energiegeladener Hund, der sowohl körperliche als auch geistige Auslastung braucht. Er genießt die Aufmerksamkeit seiner Menschen und kann bei Unterforderung zu Übersprungshandlungen neigen. Er ist außerdem sehr clever: Küchenschränke öffnet er mühelos und nutzt jede Gelegenheit, um an Futter oder andere interessante Dinge zu gelangen. Er verteidigt seinen Futternapf sowie andere Ressourcen wie Spielzeug oder Leckerlis konsequent.
